For the money, its a decent little saw. Cuts accurately. The bevel and miter angle can be adjusted with accuracy. I like that it doesn't click into an angle position like some other saws. This allows me a adjust angles as needed. I spent 150 on an Evolution that couldn't cut a decent miter no matter how much adjustment. With this saw I drew a line and lined up the blade and it cut right on the mark. Couldn't do that with the Evolution due to blade wobble. This will work perfectly for my small project needs. I bought this for one reason: the size. I have no room for a standard miter saw, and I have a good table saw. I do make a lot of projects with narrow boards and repetitive cuts and an 8" saw would be perfect. I was dubious of the quality and precision because of the obvious Chinese origins but the price was right. Now I can saw I was surprised and very impressed with the solid construction and I got square cuts right out of the box. However, there was one issue that bears mention: I wanted to change to a good plywood blade right away and I had a most difficult time getting the standard blade off. So much so I was preparing to return the saw until I looked again at other saws on Amazon and the manuals online and realized that the threads on the bolt that holds the blade on miter saws are reversed. You loosen the blade by turning the bolt clockwise. It still was on really tight and all you can use is a metric allen wrench, but once I got it loose everything else fell into place. Unable to accomplish 4 inch cut unless lay flat, same with 45. Safety concern with no handle for degree change.

Then greatly disappointed that you have to lay flat 4 inch trim to make a complete square cut. I may return as I have numerous cuts that obviously a larger blade size will allow 45 degree cus on 4 in wood trim
