I ordered one of these on Black Friday 2023 as a "for fun" purchase that I was feeling really excited about! When I got it the car was not secured in the box, and when I plugged it in the charging indicator would NOT blink and instead stayed fully red (indicating full charge). I'm not sure if the light is supposed to come on when powered on, but nothing seemed to happen and the remote would not pair with the car. I re-orded a second one that just arrived today. Same issue (although this time it was packed securely in the box). Such a bummer because the good reviews made me excited, but the headache of making multiple returns due to broken products makes me wonder if it was stored in appropriately and thus the battery died. I'm living in Dallas and I'm guessing it was stored in a poorly cooled warehouse over the hot summer.. ... show more

This is such a fun toy. It is very portable, has great battery life, responds well to the controller, and provides lots of fun! I appreciate all of these things about an RC car specifically, and it would make a great little gift (not a large footprint). The Tesla is about the size of your regular hot wheels car. This has to be the smallest RC car I've ever seen. Rechargeable feature is awesome. Goes pretty fast. We keep it for indoor use. It is the size of a regular hot wheel car.

    • The weakest part of this product is the "Instructions"

Lots of negative reviews can be traced to the poor "Instructions". There are 21 languages on one huge 4 square feet two sided sheet. Bad enough, but instead of all the steps in one language being grouped together, all the languages are set forth in each step, making it hard to find the steps. On top of that there is an important synchronizing process that if missed, will make the toy appear non-functional. Left completely out is that the left/right turning required coordination with the forward/back control. If you miss that, then the toy appears to just spin, i.e. appear defective. My brother, my dad and I bought these to play with on christmas and we love them. They Turn pretty good and go fast. I wish the charge lasted a little longer, but they do charge quick. A great gift, simple to use.
