He played with it all day on Christmas and has continued playing with it for weeks afterward, definitely money well spent. My 2 yr old is also obsessed with it! If your child is into Hot Wheels or cars in general, this is absolutely worth it. The quality is very sturdy, and assembly was easy. I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes, and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The colors are vibrant and it looks just like the pictures, even more fun in person. This is an amazing toy. I worked for Mattel 30 years ago and I wish we had these for our kids back then. This toy took 15 minutes to assemble! AMAZING. No tools and it snapped together so easily. You did have to read the instructions on how to use the dinosaur part of this but once we figured it out (read the instructions twice!) it worked well. Batteries are needed for the dino head and it works great. Our 16 month old grandson was able to place a car on part of the track and even with him grabbing onto it, it was pretty sturdy. We did purchase the additional insurance given that we have a 5 year old and 16 month old grandson. We all had a blast with this toy. BEWARE: Your kid or grandkid may want you to buy the rest of the village. Ours have already placed their list to Santa! ... show more

Bought this for my 3yr old. It took just under an hour to put together with my husband (mainly because of the thousand stickers’ application that constitutes ‘Step 1’ lol). Seems pretty sturdy once it’s all set up. It’s a pretty substantial size! The dinosaur mouth is super exciting to my boys (6 & 3 yo), though it doesn’t always line up perfectly to open at the level of a passing by ramp, so sometimes the cars just smash into the dinosaur head, slow down/halt, then fall down the middle of the track. That, and you want to use Hot Wheels that are designated as ‘Best for Track’ as they’ll gather up the speed to best fly over the track gaps in the front without slowing down. The only other thing is the dinosaur is reeeeally loud as it descends. So much so that my 3yo ended up covering his ears the first handful of times he used it, before deciding the loud noise meant no harm and he could stop protecting his ears haha. In any case, it looks pretty awesome, it’s huge which makes it cool in my kids’ books, it has room for a ton of hot wheels cars, it’s big enough for my kids to both play and be entertained by it at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes, and we got it’s a Black Friday deal so the price was decent. ... show more

This Hot Wheels track is worth the price we paid. It was easy to assemble, has multiple different things it can do (I know that's vague, sorry, I haven't played with it but it keeps my kids and their friends busy), and seems to be holding up pretty well. It's been a month since Christmas and despite the frequent wear and tear, it still works! I will say though, it is LOUD, which can be good and bad. You can hear them playing with it after you've told them to go to bed (caught ya kiddo!) AND you can hear them playing with it at 6 o'clock in the morning before you've had your coffee (so loud! shhhh!). Also, it arrived in its packaging that shows what it is on the outside of the box so I had to sprint and redirect to intercept it without my kids seeing it. All in all, it's pretty cool and I'm glad my kids play with it. ... show more
