It is easy to use once you learn how to 🥴 but not to hard for the basics, really. It stabilizes the phone so videos are not shaky, the app worked well for me, worked well with the mics we used and it was easy to carry at a convention full of people walking around. It can feel a little heavy if used with the extending pole piece. I know I still have a lot to learn in terms of use but for the basics I am already a pro! 😆 It is easy to setup.

For someone who as never been here before. It’s actually quite fun. It takes a little bit f fiddling and some tinkering to get the hang of it. AOCHUAN 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for Smartphone with RGB Fill Light Professional Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer (Smart XE Kit) is a neat little device for content creation. I’m not a YouTuber, influencer, vlogger or podcaster. I’m just curious. That is it…and That is all. The overall quality of the gimbal is fantastic for its value. The build feels solid and tight, with a comfortable grip which is simple and easy to maintain. Functions are bit to get used to. The tutorial videos are actually quite helpful and educational, especially for a beginner, like me. I still have a lot to learn. For the moment I am enjoying this time getting to know this gimbal and its capabilities. So many cool features and the neat content creation possibilities it has to offer. One of the first steps when during the initial setup is to download the app and then pairing the phone to the gimbal via Bluetooth, and then it proceeds to discuss a few of he features the gimbal offers, and then it tutorials a few of the most basic operations to get started. Part 1 is so informative, I still need to play and replay, just to follow through and understand some of the functions. Still there is…..So much to learn!!! I’m still training myself to use this device. I like what I am seeing so far. I have not gotten very far with the use, as i am still trying to figure it out. I’m hoping…as i use it more i will become more proficient, just seems to be taking a little while. Mostly because i pick up the grimbal here and there, and when I make time for it. Which for now is it NOT a whole lot. When I do start playing around with it, from time to time. I have connect an iPhone 15plus with a smaller MagSafe case. I would say it is more on the lighter to medium side of the spectrum when it comes to phone cases. With the phone installed in the gimbal. My thoughts is that the phone seems big for gimbal to support whether if its compatible or not. IMO it seems big for having the proper support. I see that it is compatible for the iPhone Pro Max…support with heavier and thicker cases just does’t seem to work very well. The holder on the gimbal seems more well suited for the standard version with no case an all or a case that is smaller/thinner. The gimbal just seems to be able to manage and handle the phone device with more ease for an even greater efficiency and responsiveness. Overall, a very nice device with awesome functionality and great available features for a beginner. The ability to create almost professional looking content is my greatest interest and my ultimate goal for having this gimbal. I can’t hardly wait to get better at using it.

I ordered the Aochuan 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for shooting dog shows. I've been wanting one of these for a long time; as such, this is my first time using one of these. The instruction booklet is large, but that's because there are instructions printed in many languages. The instructions are not in a step-by-step how-to-operate mode. So if you're new like me, you might have difficulty figuring it out. It's more of a learn-on-the-go thing. I spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos trying to figure out how to operate this from other reviewers. I really feel that you should at least get a basic understanding of what the functions are and what they're supposed to do from the instruction booklet. I also downloaded the app as it was advised if you want to engage the Zoom function. Unfortunately, I could not get it to zoom in or out with the app-enabled and open on my phone. I also had issues with the "object tracking". As I'm filming dog events, I was hopeful that I would be able to lock onto a dog using the object tracking to have it follow the dog - but I was not having much luck with getting it to track the dog as it would lose it once other objects came into view. As far as function goes, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a decent case on it (not a slim case, but nothing as big as an O**er case), and the grip on the gimble was barely holding onto my phone. I did notice that the more I used the gimble, the better I got at filming once I learned the gimble's limitations with angles and such. I really wanted to love this gimble, but I think I'll need to watch more videos to understand and operate it with more finesse. I gave it 4 stars, for the lack of instructions.

The media could not be loaded. It's weak. It can barely handle the weight of a phone. It struggles to rotate. Like a phone weighs too much for it. Also the phone hits the side a lot. And it causes the footage to shake a lot. Also The phone holder is too thin and can barely fit a galaxy s23 with a case. The phone falls out easily. This should have a normal screw mouth option There is no support for 8k or 4k 60fps. Whoever made this gimbal should be fired. I'm returning this junk.

This is my first gimbal, so it's been very exciting to play with and learn it's capabilities. It easily paired with the app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and holds it well, even without removing its case. It's definitely helped improve the clarity of videos due to the enhanced image stabilization. It recharges via USB C and comes with a nice storage case to keep everything together and ready for adventure. Overall, I'm thrilled to finally have a gimbal and look forward to taking even better videos with it.
