Bought these for my son and he hates them. Came inside after only a few minutes and said they are cold and allowed water in from snow he was playing in. To top it all off, it seems to have some kind of crinkly liner inside the glove - to make it waterproof or windproof or something - but it's actually pretty loud. Sounds like you are scrunching up a grocery bag when you move your fingers and open/close your hand. They seem to market these as hunting gloves, so not sure how the noise like that can be tolerated. About half way through their 1st winter with my 8 yr old son. We spend most weekends in the Rocky Mtns, these definitely keep his hands warm.
