I enjoy items to help relax and unwind. Goodtar has offered a lot of neat items for massages, but, from my opinion, they have been hit or miss. This Hot Massage Stone Smooth Hot Rocks Heated Scraper offers a different approach to a heated massage. The electrical base seems to be of lower quality than I was expecting. It does have a switch on the base that provides two levels of heat. The high setting does get hot and I would suggest using the stone over a thin covering on your skin to avoid a possible burn. It only offers the heat to a small area so you do have to move the stone around. Easy to heat and easy to use.

I was really excited to get this hot stone massager because I've been having some real sore muscles after a long shift at a physically demanding job. It sounded so cool that you could just heat them up and get some relief at home without having to pay for a massage. When it got here, it was all pretty much what I expected, and the stone itself feels smooth and nice. It's easy to hold and it was simple to figure out how to get it started. The problem is the quality just isn't there. For one, the description says it's made from "premium bian stone," but it feels kind of cheap, not like what I was hoping for. The biggest issue though is that it just doesn't stay hot. The instructions say you heat it for 15 minutes, but then it only really stays warm for maybe 5 minutes tops. It's really frustrating because by the time I start to feel like it's doing anything, it's already cooled down. You can't really get the deep muscle relief it talks about when you're having to constantly reheat it. Overall, it's just okay. It does warm up, and it's better than nothing, but it's not a great product. I'll still use it sometimes, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants something that actually stays hot enough to work on your muscles for a decent amount of time. Maybe if there were multiple stones, multiple burners and someone else rotating the cooling stones out with a freshly warmed on it may be more convenient but that's a little unrealistic. It's a bummer because I had high hopes. It’s just not worth the money for what you get.

My man and I love getting massages, but they get expensive. We also love giving each other massages at home but we’re not professionals and you miss certain aspects like the warm bed and the hot stones. This hot stone has been awesome, think of it like one of those coffee warmers people keep on their desk. You just set it on the warmer and let it heat up. It does get pretty hot so I’d test the warmth through a towel first but once it’s the perfect temperature it feels so good on your skin. I kind of wish it came with two - one for each hand. This would be a great gift for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary because it’s very sensual. Again it’s super easy to use and it works really well for an at home massage tool.

As a massage therapist, I’m always looking for new supplies and items to add to my practice and techniques. I was really excited for this stone massager as it is essentially one big hot stone but it does fall short of my expectations. The temperature is hard to regulate, the high setting is hot hot but the low setting is barely lukewarm. It is easy to use and ideal for self massage. Its quality feels a little lacking because at this price point I’d expect something that feels high quality in my hands but this just feels a little cheap. Overall it functions and feels good enough but is a little underwhelming to what I’d expect from an item like this.

This smooth stone hot massager feels so relaxing and comfortable. The unit heats up very quickly and the stone remains hot for several minutes. The heat with pressure on my back offers excellent deep tissue relief. This has been one of the most relaxing and calming massagers I have had the pleasure of using. This offers excellent relief for sore and tight muscles. The heat does a great job of loosening stress point on my back, arms and thighs. I never fully understood what hot stones massages were about, but after experiencing this unit, I now feel I do. This is a great option for a unique, relaxing massage sensation.
