This straightener is cute and tiny but was a great help on my trip- easy to use in the airport after a layover trip to the beach! Took up very little space for a backpack only trip but heated up quick and did the trick. Warning this is very small so it worked to touch up bangs but would be difficult for a full style for a head of long hair - only about 2inch heat plates. I thought this would be good for my daughter's bangs but apparently I read the size wrong. If u want small little curls I would say this is good for toddlers.

Important things to know: 1.) This tool is very small, in my opinion it's meant for bangs. It fits, nearly entirely, in my hand and I have small hands. It fits very nicely in just about any small cosmetic bag. 2.) There is no automatic off. This tool will stay on until manually turned off or unplugged. 3.) The units on/off switch is placed inside the two sides about an inch + down from the plates. 4.) The unit lacks a selectable temperature setting. This tool heats up relatively fast and I find it easy to use. I use it my bangs however I've also used it on the very ends of my hair a couple of times. I did find it time consuming to straighten my ends and feel that using my full size flat iron would've been faster and more efficient. But when putting a little curl or bounce to my bangs it is perfect. While the on/off switch is not difficult to access it isn't really accessible either. I have small fingers and I have to really pay attention when turning it on/off... Not a task to perform when groggy or half asleep. In summary, for the price paid this tool does the job for which I intended. I would gladly purchase again. ... show more

I bought this to melt keratin to make ktips and it’s a lie I don’t think it even gets to 375.. I threw it away because it was partially melted and all over the tool. I should have sent it back .. just didn’t want to deal with the return.
