So here’s the thing, I bought my original Hot Beauty flat iron back in 2002 I believe? I bought it at a Beauty Supply Store while out of town because I left my Chi at home on accident and needed one on the fly as an emergency so if it didn’t work for me I could give it away or throw it away. HOWEVER…the first use I was impressed! It was better than my chi! So I prayed to the hair gods to let this thing live! It is now 2023 and my original Hot Beauty is still alive and well! I’ve used it on silk presses too and have been asked about it now for 21+ years!!! Now I have to knock on wood and hope I didn’t jinx anything of course. All that being said, I couldn’t find them for a while because I wanted other sizes too…I finally found them here on Amazon and ordered the two pack with the mini. Let me just tell you, I was nervous at first because I wondered if quality changed them over the years. The answer is NO they’re even BETTER! Hot Beauty does NOT disappoint at all the only change I see is the fonts they used with the brand writing on the iron itself because the original one I have has that Barbie font in hot pink which looks super cute against the black and this one just looks like cursive which is still okay because the irons both get hot-hot and do what they’re supposed to do if you know what you’re doing. Aesthetically, I wish it were still in that Barbie Font though but HEY maybe they’ll do it again sometime! Buy yourself a Hot Beauty and take care of it! Wipe it down and store it properly like I did and you won’t be disappointed, it will last you many moons I swear by experience! ... show more

I have never used flat irons before but after seeing other women used them and seeing how their hair turned out I decided to buy this set and after using them I really love them and I would tell other women the price is right and they are worth every penny buy them and you will see.

    • Can easily damage hair
The quality is ok. It's plastic. It squeaks when i slide it down my hair. The smaller one is not bad for traveling. It's price is worth its specs. Just not my quality. I have really thin hair and it's a bit wavy. It does help giving me volume tho.
