I can blow dry my hair mostly straight, but there's always those little hairs, especially around my face (the "devil horns") that I just can't get right. When traveling, this helps with those tiny fixes and takes up almost no space in my suitcase compared to my full size straightener! It's not something I think I'd be happy to use daily, but for travel... because I'm a habitual over-packer, this thing is wonderful for saving space and getting the job done! If it broke or went missing tomorrow, I'd order another one right away!

Box claims "less than 30 second heat up", however the instructions tell you a different tale, saying it will be "ready for use within 60 seconds. For optimum styling temperature, allow iron to heat for 1-2 minutes before using as the iron will continue to gain heat until it reaches the higher heat level". So how long is it? 30 seconds? 60 seconds? Several minutes? The description claims it gets "up to 410 degrees", however after leaving it for a few minutes and attempting to put light curls into my hair, it left much to be desired. I will let it heat up longer and try again, but so far, this flat iron is not quite as it was advertised.

This straightener is cute and tiny but was a great help on my trip- easy to use in the airport after a layover trip to the beach! Took up very little space for a backpack only trip but heated up quick and did the trick. Warning this is very small so it worked to touch up bangs but would be difficult for a full style for a head of long hair - only about 2inch heat plates. Did what I needed and will be good for on the go touch ups!

it works, theres no dial but thats fine if you use heat protectant. the box was torn open and the travel bag was gone but the iron was in perfect condition, i cleaned and sanitized it so thats fine ig, kind of disappointing though..
