I built this bed by myself. With a sick toddler needing my attention, it took me about five hours to do it on my own. Everything is nicely labeled and the instructions are easy to follow. It's just very time consuming. However, I love the look of it and it's nice to FINALLY have a bed with a headboard! My only major complaint is that prior to this bed, I had the Purple brand metal foundation. Since using this foundation (wood), my mattress looks like it's sinking in the middle. Overall, it was easy to put together, for sure. Just make sure you put the side bars on correctly because there is a made hole for a screw to insert on each white side bars and I accidentally put them on backwards but you don’t notice the mistake so, I didn’t bother to fix it. I had already screwed them together with the headboard and baseboard. Oops, a😅 annndd There was a tear on the baseboard. sadly, to say ☹️whenn…I opened the package. When I first received this package I was upset because the box had obviously been stepped on. Even though there is a label that says please do not step on. When assembling the bed one of the frames had been cracked and split. So I contacted the seller to make my concern known. They responded promptly and were eager to resolve the problem. I appreciate this because this was an investment that I even purchase Asurion with. They went above my expectation and I was happy with the resolution. The bed was sturdy and held my box spring and mattress with no issue. I gave four stars because even though I have a standard king size and platform is wider than my bed. I didn't realize it was not for standard King bed. Other than that I was surprised by the quality for the price. ... show more

    • Looks good once finally together.
Love the look of it, was a little complicated when putting on side boards to the headboard. Looks like it’s not stable enough at first but it surprised me once it was finally put together. Not bad at all , if you have patience I would recommend this frame.

Quality seems pretty good. No tears or problems with it in any way. Seems sturdy so far. It was a pain in the butt to put together with one person but I was still able to in about an hour. My 12 inch mattress fit perfectly. Anything smaller will most likely have a gap. The headboard is not very tall though so I wouldn’t go over 12 inches. The color is described as black brown, and is listed as black but as you can see in the photos, up close or with sunlight shining on it, it is definitely brown. From further away it is very dark and hard to tell it is brown, in case you’re wanting to match furniture to it, the brown is noticeable under bright light. It does include a small Allen wrench for assembly but you’ll need a drill for the screws for the wooden slats. ... show more

The quality is fairly good and it is sturdy. Was a little difficult to screw in some parts but it may have been from the damage from shipping. The company responded super fast and we came to a fair deal. Over all it is very pretty really satisfied with the purchase. I would buy from them again.

I put this together myself within maybe an hour and a half?! The first month was good. I normally sleep in the middle of the bed my bf on the edge. We switched places, he tried to get off the bed and the middle metal bars bent. Now I have a lopsided bed. Lower at the bottom of the bed higher at the top. I'll have to buy something to correct the leveling or buy a new bed frame. Not for anyone over the weight of 215lbs. ... show more
