EDIT- after my original post the company reached out to me. They were patient and flexible as we were going through a move and I was not to attentive to my email. But they are replacing the board and giving me a credit for the inconvenience. While I am sad the first board bubbled, the company has been great in trying to make it right. My daughter loves being in the ocean. I had held off on buying her a boogie board because she was small and i didn't want garbage. I bought this board for her 7th birthday. Good reviews and decent size. We took it on vacation. She used it all day for 2 days and on the 3rd day when we got to the beach we noticed a bubble on the top. The bubble grew to cover at least half of the top layer. I wanted to contact the company but amaz9n doesn't make that easy. I googled them and looks like they got bought out. I finally found an Instagram account for them and messaged them there but they haven't replied. The board looks good but doesn't seem to be durable and trying to access costumer service is a game. I would look else where ... show more

The top foam layer of foam has a long tear. This was with normal use. I took very good care of the board. Granted I used it a lot. Great board otherwise. I love the leash. I still use it. Just has duct tape on it.

    • Great product! Lightweight and high quality! - not QUITE "bulletproof surf"
Great bodyboard that feels high quality. I had a lot of fun using it in the waves this summer but there are a few things that I would like to point out. It is very lightweight which I like, but being used to the heavier type, it took some getting used to. It may be pretty sturdy compared to other products especially considering its weight which I love, but I feel like "bulletproof surf" is a bit of a misnomer. After only having it a few days, I was packing it into the car for our beach trip, and once we got there I noticed a dent in the top of the foam. It wasn't large, and certainly not significant but I just wanted to point out that anyone who has this product might want to put on top of their luggage. This was probably just my fault though and just not being as careful as I should be. With its low weight, it may blow away a little faster than other heavier bodyboards. That's not to say that all bodyboards are light enough and have enough surface area to do the same thing. Okay I'm done with the cons, now lets get to the pros. First of all the packaging was great and I didn't feel worried at all that it could've been broken or damaged. Its lightweight construction may be a little unsettling at first, but it makes carrying out to the beach much easier. The strap on it is phenomenal! It is very easy to attach and seems very strong. The Velcro is also very tough and does not come apart easily, so you will not have to worry about it coming off your wrist/ankle. Price is also pretty affordable for something of such high quality. So this is a very good product, obviously with a minor problem because something has to be sacrificed for being so specially lightweight. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants a high quality, lightweight bodyboard. ... show more

I had high hopes for the product after reading reviews not only on Amazon but through a couple independent websites listing "top 10" best boogie boards. Durability was one of the features they were praised for. Unfortunately this couldn't be further from the truth. Some history - Our family are all avid experienced water athletes. The boards were for my two sons ,age 8 and 6 ,weighing 70 lbs and 50 lbs and my wife who weighs 130 lbs . All well under the range of weight acceptable for these boards. We Live on the beach and are all experienced surfers, windsurfers , and kite boarders along with boogie boarding. Our equipment Maintance is excellent ,all our gear is washed in fresh water and stored out of the elements including our boogie boards so the Maintance of the equipment is not in question. As far as the usage , we all know how to ride boogie boards properly and do not abuse them in any way ,riding them the way they are intended. The boards were purchased in May and the first one started coming apart in June .I thought it was just bad luck so I glued it with a non toxic epoxy we use on some of our other foam products.This held for one more season . By the middle of July with less than 2 months of use ALL the boards started coming apart.They were creasing from pressure (which should never happen with a 70 lb child riding ) I was trying to contact the seller to give them the first opportunity to respond to this dilemma but there is no contact for them. Unfortunately this is my only course of action.I warn anyone thinking of buying these to take a miss , do not do it.We re highly skilled water family that use sports equipment for many different water sports and these boards are the worst items we have encountered . I have attached pictures for your reference . If your looking for a throw away board then maybe consider these boards but at their price they should last more than 1 month and a half. ... show more
