We've had this RC Truck for just over a week now... wanted to wait to write a review until we had a chance to run it. I will say we have had several Hosim RC cars/trucks over the past 5 years... for the money, Hosim might be the best deal/quality out there. These are close to hobby grade but at a third of the price. The X16 model is no different after several days of high-speed runs through our neighborhood; this has held up and performs great. It's fast.... but one thing my son and I really like about this model is how controlled the take-off speed is. Most high-speed RC cars jump so fast when you pull the trigger that they flip or lose direction control when the front wheels immediately pop off the ground. This one has a much better controlled take off and very quickly accelerates into top speed.. This RC vehicle also comes with the optional (install yourself) Wheelie Bar... I still recommend putting this on when you first get the RC car out. It comes with two 1500 mAh batteries, and we get at least 20 minutes+ run time out of each battery. You also get some tools, extra body clips, and wheel hubs. The front bumper has a cool LED light bar, but ours came unplugged, so you may need to find the wire and connect it for the light bar to work. This has good, balanced construction and handles/turns very good. The Trigger controller (our preferred style) has adjustments for the turning radius and speed control... This is nice for beginners, so you can reduce the max speeds until you get more comfortable running it at higher speeds. Size-wise, this is marketed as a 1:10 scale, but I feel it's just slightly smaller than that and closer to 1:12 scale... The one thing I do not like is the location of the power on/off button on the RC car itself. I feel this is in an odd position and only accessible by removing the body shell. Most of our other RC cars/trucks, the power button is on the side or in a spot you can toggle on/off without removing the shell. Minor issue, but something I would change if I could. One other thing is I think the shocks on this are spring-loaded (not oil-filled). I have found the oil-filled shocks work better/last longer, and this is one other thing i would change. Some of the parts on this have been upgraded to metal vs. plastic on older models. This should help with long-term durability. Another nice thing about Hosim & Amazon is that they have lots of parts available to fix/repair on your own if needed to keep your RC running. We have several 4-5 year old RC cars from Hosim that (because I can find parts on Hosim's site and Amazon) we've been able to get running in top form. overall i would give this RC an 8.5 out of 10 and for the price you really can't beat it. Highly Recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Really cool RC truck for the price. It has a very unique sounding and looking 2s brushless motor. Comes with nice little Parts bag extra parts clips Servo horns 2 2s lipos with charger. Super heavy duty front bumper with nice bright LEDs built in. I can pick it up from the front bumper and it doesn't even Flex. Extremely easy to assemble it's ready to go all you have to do is throw on the wheelie bar if you want to which takes about 5 minutes if that. Super fun car the speed is great for somebody just getting into the hobby it has a speed dial on the remote so you can work your way up to max speed. For the price and everything it comes with you can't beat it. It has a nice heavy duty steel drive shaft with guard battery straps which make it easy to swap the batteries have ridges on the Dean's connector which makes it really easy to grip now and pull out before they used to be flat and slippery. It has aluminum front and rear skids nice 45 amp ESC with built-in cooling fan the tires grip really nice front and rear metal CV shafts with cuphead. One thing I always do with every new RC truck is check all the lock nuts for the wheels make sure they're tight it takes less than a minute to check all four and even if for some reason you do lose one it comes with extras. Awesome four-wheel drive brushless beginner truck can't wait to see what I can do in the snow with some paddles Only thing you need is four Double A's for the remote and you're ready to rip

The media could not be loaded. I’ve owned a few RC cars over the years, but this Brushless Extreme Speed Truck really stands out. The brushless motor is no joke — it easily hits around 60 km/h and feels way faster than anything I’ve tried in this price range. It comes with a solid 60A ESC, and you can tell it’s built for performance and even future upgrades. The battery life surprised me too. It includes two 1500mAh batteries, and I consistently get over 40 minutes of drive time total. That’s plenty for long sessions at the park or dirt track without having to stop and recharge all the time. Build quality is another huge plus — metal drivetrain, steel links, aluminum shocks — the whole thing just feels tough. I’ve flipped it, hit curbs, and taken it through grass and dirt, and it keeps going without issues. You can tell this truck was made to handle some abuse. The controller is responsive with a great 2.4GHz range (around 80m), and I really like the two-speed modes. I started on half-speed to get used to the handling, and now I switch to full speed when I want that adrenaline rush. What really makes this truck fun is how versatile it is — it handles great on grass, sand, and even steep climbs. The suspension and shocks absorb bumps like a champ, and it looks awesome in action. Overall, this is hands down one of the best RC trucks I’ve owned. It’s fast, durable, easy to control, and genuinely fun whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hobbyist. Definitely recommend it if you want serious performance without spending a fortune.

The RC car is a lot of fun. Be sure to put blue loctite on all screws around the suspension. I had one back out the first time I used it in the dirt and had to buy a $10 pack of 5 for replacements.

Broke in 3 different places within the first day. I tried to take the screws out to fix and the screws stripped out and won't come out all the way. Talk about a disappointment. My boy is so bummed out. Please don't buy anything from them. The replacement parts are junk
