Great product, poor shipping

I loved this product! I noticed an immediate difference in my high withered TB. She seemed more comfortable and relaxed under saddle, and as I was girthing up, did not give me the 'evil ear'. The product was exactly what I expected and is great for the hollow spot behind the shoulders, with no tenderness after removing the saddle. Shipping on the other hand was not great. I order this product on Jan 18, it was not sent from their facility until Jan 24. I was notified of a delivery date of Jan 31 and then received another notification that it would be three more days. Product was not received until Feb 3. Again, product is great. Shipping not so much.

I thought this would be a great cushion for my sensitive backed horse, but my saddle fitter advised against using it since it heats up the back and gets pulled down onto the withers--creating too much pressure. I never actually used it, but it seems like it would be great. . .

The people who made this have clearly never seen any equestrian tack and have no idea what a pad actually is.

No equestrian in their right mind would ever want this pad. From the picture and description I was expecting a firm gel. It's not that at all. It's STRETCHY and STICKY. It's the exact same material as those decorative window clings. You'd have to peel it off of itself just to use it, and if you did put it directly on a horse (as the package suggests) you'd rip out all his hair. Lord only knows what it would do to a nice leather saddle; I wasn't about to let it touch mine. And Lord have mercy on your soul if you drop it - you will never, I mean NEVER get it clean. The only way this pad might be remotely useful is if you put it on top of your saddle and sat directly on it, you'd stick right to it and never fall off.
