This is an amazing light for certain phase in flower. Most of these leds that I’ve researched have closer to a full spectrum of light. From cold blue to warm red. That’s not ideal for late flower stage. Blue spectrum isn’t necessary for late bloom. So, this is the light that I chose to blend in with other warm spectrum lighting for flowering. So if you read my previous review, I liked how the light came pre-assembled. It is solidly built. I've grown one crop under this along with a SP-4000 in a 4x8 tent. Kept the lights roughly 24". I never maxed out either light. Only went to 90% in the last couple of weeks. I AM IMPRESSED! The light is expensive, but if this is your hobby? Then don't mess around with cheap lights! This light is a beast! On the heavier end but it is quality-built. The fan leaves of my plants grown under this light are HUGE and healthy. Worth every penny in my opinion. I’ve been cultivating indoor plants for 4 years and was able to make my money back with a great return on investment using this light. Would buy again ... show more

Pros: This light is amazing at 20% it still reads at 500 Par and thats 3ft from the canopy. I turned it up to 30% and scorched my girls at 2ft from canopy. I have the maxissunPB 4000 running beside it and that light is at 3ft running at 50% and its pushing the same par as the black bird. Thats not a diss on the PB4000 cause it is an amazing light also HLG says this is a 4*4 i promise you this can easy flower or Veg a 5*5. Cons: O dont have 4 of them😂😂😂😂 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. EDIT: so I got a replacement and it’s in even worse condition than the original! I can get a return but the point is that I need the light and now this is just a huge waste of time. I have 8 plants for this section that are probably gonna die now. A month of wasted time! I attached more photos of the broken product. so I ordered one a few months ago and it came in an open package. You could tel it was retapped, so I’m thinking it was a return. Okay cool, I’ll keep it. It works great. Now I buy this second one and it’s just flat out damaged. Chipped edge and electrical falling apart. Such a waste of time… ... show more

This product is very well built in the USA. Also you can bolt HLG's 2ft UVA bar down the middle of the Blackbird by using the driver bolts to attach it. I have only had the lights a couple weeks but my girls seem to be loving them! I would definitely recommend cause these lights have a very even spread over the cannopy. ... show more
