I love it had my son put it together it cracked in 2 places so be really careful .as you can tell it looks very nice once put together. I put against the wall, so it helps it to be a little more sturdy. Now I will purchase an island and remove my table from the kitchen, and it will make my kitchen look much bigger. I would recommend if you don't want to spend much money on an expensive one, this is it just be careful you don't crack the wood. will update after I get my Island, I gave it a 4 star because the wood cracked ... show more

I am a fair person and I am updating my original review. Now that the pain of putting this together has passed I am pleased with the product itself. I mean, let's be truthful here. We are not purchasing a high end item from a furniture store. The material is in alignment with cost. The downfall is the difficulty level in putting this together. If you are not an organized person with lots of patience you are going to have issues with this. If you take your time, organize the parts, and follow the directions carefully you're still going to get frustrated at certain points. But if you are willing to deal with that then this is not a bad product. I recommend it but only if you are realistic that you're not paying for high end and that you accept you are going to have to be patient putting it together.
