It did at first but I bought those small spaces deodorizers and put one in top cupboard and bottom cupboard and within a week there was no longer a smell. Directions to put together were easy and no issues. Holds alot of items for bathroom. It even came with a wall anchor to keep it nice and sturdy. It’s a beautiful cabinet. Took about two hours to put together. All you need to have on hand is a Philips head screwdriver or you can use an impact but be careful because the smaller screws can easily strip. Took about two hours to assemble taking my time with kids interrupting. Instructions were easy to follow. Everything went together great with no issues on doors closing. It did have a strong chemical smell like others mentioned straight out of the box but it was gone by the time it was together so no issues there. It’s small and that’s what I needed for the area it went in. I’d definitely buy it again. And may buy another one for the same room. I’d recommend it if the measurements are what you’re looking for.

I was a little skeptical when I read some of the reviews, but now am so happy I made this choice. Once I laid out all the pieces, it was really easy to assemble. There was absolutely no odor, and all the parts were there, and there was no damage. The magnets aligned with a slight adjustment to the metal bars. Everything closes well and it's beautiful. I'm 74 with a lot of arthritis, and it was still easy for me. It's the perfect size and much more sturdy than I expected. To me, a real deal and have had many compliments on it already.

We love this piece of furniture. It is being used as a linen cabinet and sits outside the bathroom in the hallway. It is small enough to fit well, but large enough to hold towels and linens. The drawers are nice for medical supplies like band-aids, etc. It was pretty easy to assemble and everything lined up well. It was the perfect choice for us.

Lightweight, easy to assemble, looks good, exactly what I needed for extra storage in my bathroom. However it has some seriously nasty off gassing smells. I have left the doors open for days on end. I have throughly vacuumed (it had what looked like fiberglass particles all over it) and scrubbed it down more than once. I have had an open box of baking soda in it for a couple weeks and the odor is still just as strong. I’m using it to store bathroom towels, so I have had to wash them a few times as they have been absorbing the smell. If it weren’t for the horrendous smell this cabinet seeps out I would have rated it a 5.
