I got this to put on my Gear Labs greenland paddle and I'm very happy. I didn't want anything that would damage my paddle. This is tacky, and hold great but isn't glue and doesn't hurt the fiber. I did a 17 mile paddle with wet, sweat, and mud and it didn't loosen and provided great grip. For a full length greenland you need 2 rolls. Update. I'm very happy with the 3 stars..works great in sweat mud cold warm water. I've used it for over 60 miles of paddling and it's still on. The left grip is creeping up a little but I think that's because I wrapped it shorter due to running out of 1 roll. Use 1 roll per paddle. I bought 4 more rolls. But haven't had to change yet. ... show more

It works as described, pull the tape to activate the stickiness, know that it is difficult to pull off once you’ve laid a section. don’t make a mistake! even so, it is forgiving aesthetically. Description says that it will cover two handle portions. instructions say to wrap back over one layer. there is not enough tape to do this for two handle sections. I do like the feeling of extra padding so I am glad that I wrapped one handle twice over but am disappointed that I have to order another spool. Just go ahead and order two! ... show more
