3 pills is one serving or 3000 mg. I don't like the pills being as large as they are. The capsules are fairly tasteless and there is no aftertaste. The 3,000 mg helped with urinary urgency. Have not had any side effects. Have not noticed any differences with hair growth though.

These are helpful for hair thinning and loss and I am very happy that they help me with my constipation issues. Very good value and quality product. You take 3 very large geltabs every day but I am using it with my other supplements.

Those with already normal to low blood pressure should exercise caution when determining the correct dosage of this product, especially if you are already taking magnesium or other vasodilators. Definitely start out your dosage with one capsule, and perhaps consider starting with 500 mg rather than 1000. I unknowingly took my regular 400 mg. of magnesium with 1 soft gel of pumpkin seed oil (1000 mg) and had the side effect of being quite light headed/feeling faint.
