I followed the measurement chart and the reviews but the first one was to small. I ended up ordering two sizes bigger. just to be safe. This one fits but no room to tighten as I am already on the final clasps after just 3 times of wearing. Now I will probably have to order the middle size when I slim down more. Otherwise very easy to wear with the exception that I am short waisted so it is a bit long.

I have purchased this item twice now. The first one I bought (size Medium) after the technician of a laser procedure advised me to get one. I had that little pooch under my overall flat stomach that I wanted to flatten. After dieting and wearing a size medium I lost 12 pounds and liked this shaper so much I bought a second size in Small. I haven't owned any other shapers before so I have nothing to compare it to, but this shaper fastens with metal loops, zips on tops of those and then has a wide velcro belt you tighten over both. It's very secure. I don't recommend it as a fashion shaper as it bunches up through out the day and is noticeable under tight clothing. I typically wear mine under a large T shirt that I'm doing errands in. There is boning in the back that aids in back support and it's helped me with cravings during my fasting periods because it acts as kind of a lap band. I wear it from 8am to 5pm and have noticed more curvature on my sides but that is likely attributed to the weight loss. I can't say that it helps with weight loss but this my personal experience.

I am 145 lbs and normally wear a small. My waist is 33 inches. A lot of reviews said size up, so I bought a medium. It’s too big. There’s no real cinching. It feels more like a support belt. Order the size you comfortably fit into. If your size is a little snug then I’d order up a size.

My waist is about 30inches and I ordered a medium. At the last hook it was perfectly snug and held everything together, but I wasn’t sure i would be able to work with it that tight. Luckily this waist trainer came with an extender which may the corset much more comfortable! I wore if for a work shift and had no problems moving or bending! I’m so glad I ordered this!
