This is a super simple umbrella with a nice clasp, a small loop, and a simple trigger action. But, in a wind, you need to two hand this and be wary it may wish to flip inside out as the rods for the brella are not the strongest. But, it's a good buy under $20, so no big complaints for the price.

This is a newer style of umbrella, where it folds in a different way, that is supposed to be better when folding away. I actually found the new mechanism to be awkward and makes the umbrella want to open under its own weight when holding upside down. Also, it is very small and lightweight, which is why I bought it to throw in my bag, but it is so light weight that the first breeze that hit me nearly bent all the rods trying to turn the thing inside out. I would be OK keeping this in a bag or car as a last ditch effort to keep dry, but I wouldn't rely on it as a regular use umbrella.

Small & compact making it easy to carry are the pros When opened it has a large canopy of 48" which is large enough to keep you dry. The downside is it seems like in a heavy Florida storm it would not hold up to well. Our first heavy storm in Orlando that I used this and it not for heavy duty use Also very confusing to open this🤷🏼♂️ Once our daily storms arrive I will return with a more in-depth review and go up or down in the rating
