What can I say, it looks fantastic. I may have to play around with the strap placement or lengths as there's a little slack and not totally flat. I think it would be tough to get it over a larger hood but maybe not. I can also see why people might think it's faded over time because the red dilutes at the most stretched points, up top at corners. Well I'll rock it thru July 4, 1776 and give it a rest until holidays and take care of it. It should last a few years if I keep it nice and tucked away inside. (EDIT) Well after contacting the manufacturer they agreed to replace both our hoodsflags. They did say that these are not intended to be left on for longer periods, more for special displays of patriotism. I will proudly put it on several times a year!. Thank you hoodsflags for standing behind your product. Very disappointed with the colors. Bought this in Dec and by Mar it was well faded. Not even in harsh summer sun. I finally took it off because the colors looked terrible. It does fit well for all sizes, we bought two and had one on my truck and one on a Rav4. No issues with wind, driving 75 mph into a 40 mph headwind. It fluttered a bit but stayed secure. Another review commented on the large branding logo on the front and I agree, it shouldn't be there. Had lots of compliments when it looked good and I told people where to find one. I won't recommend it now with the fading issues. It just doesn't last. I may modify this review if I get good customer service with a replacement, maybe ours were just poor coloring. ... show more

Didn’t know if it would fit my 08 F-250. The grill is built in to the hood, but I installed it and made it fit great. Really nice looking and easy enough to install. I like the bag you get with it so you don’t have to worry about it getting messed up. Will buy more for my family. Thanks

    • Worked for what I needed
I have a minivan so the item was big enough for my hood. My only complaint is that it covered up my windshield Wiper fluid so I couldn’t keep it on very long. It did fade pretty quickly in the sun. I would’ve hoped that it would’ve He does color a little little bit longer for that price.
