I needed to make holes for a treatment to trees. I’ve used the method of a pole or pipe before, but this is above and beyond easy. The soil is clay and super hard. Used a regular battery operated drill and was finished in a few minutes. The extra bits will make simple work of planting bulbs and other plants. If a 75 yr old lady can do it anyone can. Would definitely recommend!

these were a lifesaver digging a crawlspace drain. I was able to quickly mash up the hard clay dirt we have. I got a lot of work out of them for a low price. be carful with a drill in the dirt though,

They don’t work great since I meant to primarily use to dig up weeds with tap roots. They chew up the root so they leave some behind. The big one doesn’t easily start since the tip isn’t sharp. But the smaller two work much better. I wish the tip on the large one was more like the tip on the smaller two.

The two small diameter augers will work in most drills, unless your soil is very rocky, to plant seedlings, bulbs, etc. The larger auger will need a fairly hefty drill. I am happy with these and think they are a good deal for the money.

Nothing to dislike. Favorite tool is the 3 x 7 inch auger bit. It fits the typical planter container from garden stores. Just drill to its depth and then plant.
