We found this unit to be very easy to use, especially when compared the previous ones that handled heating only. In fact, it worked so well for us, and was so efficient due to the configuration options, we chose to upgrade to this thermostat in a vacation home. The app associated with the thermostat allows us to monitor heating and cooling in both locations with a single click. An added bonus is the monthly summary of heating and cooling hours provided by the associated app. The ability to choose the colors and details of the display, is welcome too. Although the initial cost is a bit more than the typical installer-provided unit, it is easily worth that for the convenience, ease of use and ability to better-manage heating and cooling expenses. ... show more

I have installed this same thermostat in the last 3 houses I’ve owned. I really appreciate the variety of information it has on the display. The included directions are great, setup is as easy as following prompts and of course I always select the purple background! It’s nice to have the ability to check in on my house with the app when I’m traveling. If I need another one, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this exact model again. ... show more

Easy to install. Easy to set up. Very easy to control. The app was easy to set up and use. We this Thermostat at our beach house. Love it shows the humidity inside as well as out and the weather. Lovecthis Thermostat.

    • Alexa link in app is broken
This app is by far the worst a pp I have ever encountered. First, there is no provision to sign up - only sign in. second, once you do find your way to the appropriate page on the Resideo site you sign up (register), it does not allow the app and site yo sync. Third, the help link in the app results in a 404 Page Not Found error. Fourth, Honeywell arbitrarily turned off the TCC 1.0 app connection to Alexa and told no one. So much more is WRONG with this app, but I am out or room. DON'T BUY. ... show more

As long as you have a Common wire to feed this thing 3 volts, it works great. Looks like new and works like new.

    • Well designed and easy to use
Easy to install, works great, and looks good. I bought and installed two as an upgrade. I like being able to check and set the thermostat remotely or through Alexa. My only wish is that the display would go dark after a few minutes.
