I love it so I have the round one 360° for years. I bought it in “97” and it lasted me all the way up to 2015 so I bought another one and that died after seven years so it was out of warranty so I wasn’t about to get the same thing again so I decided to go with a newer model. The only thing I don’t like about it if you want the S filters you need to buy three of them I went to buy one and they where $31 so that means we’re gonna have to pay $93 to get three filters that you have to exchange in three months, I think I’ll skip the S filters. Other than that I love it I think I bought it too big but just clean out the room faster. Love it, by the way, I’ve always had Honeywell for air cleaners in my home never any other brand. Oh, and by the way, this thing IS quiet my other one I had (air cleaner) on low it sounded like this one on turbo. But this one is way quieter. I love it./ UPDATE This thing turns off by itself after 48 hours for some reason - the auto came on by itself, but I never touched it too many doodads on this thing that I don’t even use so, since Honeywell likes making their products a lot less reliable I went to consumer reports and picked up the blue air, which was much better on reviews and reliability-, the reviews for Honeywell Was terrible stay away from Honeywell when I called customer service to see why that problem existed Honeywell told me it’s a different company that makes them and that I should call them. That’s what I said the hell with it and I I’m gonna do some more searching and that’s when I found the blue air air purifier. so Honeywell is back in the box and waiting for pick up. I don’t care what reviews are saying on Amazon - you need to check out Consumer reports and Honeywell does not do well at all. Go with BLUEAIR. ... show more

I like the automatic feature of it. It senses the amount of pollutants in air and pauses if the air is clean. It also has a timer to shut off after certain amount of time. But you can not use a timer with it. If you connect it to a timer, once the electricity goes off and then comes back on it can not turn on again. You would need to turn it on by yourself. This is actually a good product however it did not suit my needs. It is loud! I bought all necessary filters including extra non essential filters and I still wasn’t completely satisfied. I returned product within proper time frame. Amazon messaged me that refund had been issued. Also, got a second message from Amazon stating that they had received the item back and that I should have my refund by now.. Still no refund!! I have had to open a case with my credit card company just to get the money. Still waiting!! This was a pricey purchase!! I have returned the merchandise and Amazon still has my money. I would be satisfied with Amazon credit at this point but for Amazon to have the merchandise AND my money is unacceptable. ... show more

Even though rather pricey, I bought this air purifier because my husband and I have had dry coughs, especially at night. I chose this because it was highly rated by a consumer magazine that doesn't;t advertise and is also well regarded. It worked! I think the cough was from dust or dust mites, but when I had a cold, I kept it running and my husband didn't catch the cold. Got a very good price, but the delivery date changed twice with the second change occurring when it was 7-10 stops away; only a few blocks. Amazon cancelled the order. I was nervous that reordering would cause me to lose the discount pricing. Thankfully, it did not. A new unit was shipped, which arrived on the date that was estimated. It works well and is easy to control. We prefer dim, or eve no light on the display, which is a nice feature. Several photos online make it look like it has a top that is half white and black plastic, but it is really a curved piece of clear plastic which has frosted icons that are illuminated from below the lower edge of the clear panel. ... show more

We purchased the HEPA and smoke filters to add to the purifier's ability to clean the air. It works very well! We run it all day and night until we go to sleep. In the morning when we start it up, it occasionally has a stale smell for the first couple minutes. I have the previous model of this air filter unit, as well, and they're both really effective. I have air quality monitors in my house due to respiratory issues in our family, and there has been a very big improvement in both VOCs and particle ppm with these running. The bonus is that both units take the same filters, so I can usually get a better price with the larger order. This model is, in my opinion, more stylish than the older model. I like the lighting (and the option to dim it or turn it off). The fit and finish is of better quality in small ways (piece alignment, etc.). I have two relatively minor issues with the unit, and they might not be issues for others. 1) No control lock. The control area on top of the unit is flat, and as anyone with cats knows, that is an invitation for being woken up at 3am by sudden Turbo mode. I don't know if Opie gets a sudden desire for wind rippling through his fur, or what, but that is NOT what I need in the wee hours. The little jerk has also decided that this is now his preferred method of waking me up at O'dark-thirty to fill his food dish. Not amused. The ability to lock out the controls would be a very welcome feature. 2) Auto mode isn't what I expected. Now, I might not have read every word in the description as thoroughly as I thought, and that's my bad. But it seemed to me that Auto Mode was indicating that when the unit sensed a drop in air quality, the unit would increase the fan speed until it cleared it. Apparently, that only applies to detected VOCs, not particle levels. My preference would be that it would be able to act on both. Just be aware of the limitations of this feature, in case you're primary concern is particles (dust, dander, pollen, etc.). Overall, I do not regret the purchase, and would buy this model to replace the older one when it finally reaches the end of its useful life. ... show more
