The EU3200i Honda is unreliable. There is a problem with fuel/ignition aspect of this generator that cannot be fixed. Mine ran well for the first 400hrs and after that it went down hill. It would be running tor hours, and then it just shuts off… restart it runs for 15 mins and cut off, again and again. It has been well maintained and serviced and only non-ethanol fuel used. An unreliable generator is not worth $1. Who wants to buy unreliable whether it is $3000 or $5 dollars it’s still unreliable. ... show more

This generator cost twice as much as similar units and cannot be returned even if the box is not opened.

    • Reliable, you get what you pay for.
People buy those cheap generators from harbor freight and other discount sites. I purchased the Honda EU3200i and two EU2000i’s Yes they where expensive but no issues with either after hundreds of hours on the one EU2000i I sold that one to a friend and kept the lightly used other. None of these ever gave me any issues. Just do the recommended maintenance and they run and run. Other knockoffs are nothing more than throw away generators, can’t get parts for them and end up buying five of them to equal one Honda. Only generator I trust when boondocking with Airstream. ... show more

I know there are cheaper generators but none run as quiet, have this power, and weigh less than 60lbs. We use for camping and it easily runs one of our air units and everything else. Love the blue tooth connection. You don’t need an electric start and extra battery weight. This thing starts first pull every time. Also, cheaper inverters seem to always have some CO2 leak and give me headaches. Not this unit - maybe because of fuel injection? I give it an 11 out of 10. ... show more
