This is the recommended fluid for the 9 speed Honda transmission used in my 2022 Ridgeline ( 51,000 miles) . I drained the fluid, about 3.5 quarts, into a 5 quart measured pail without the need to raise the vehicle. Once completely drained, I filled the transmission with the exact amount of fluid that was removed. The shifts feel firmer yet smoother with improved downshift quality. The tools required for the 1/2 hour job are: 3/8” drive wrench. 8 mm hex wrench, a bucket of choice, a long neck funnel and a few rags for clean up if needed. This is what you really should put in Honda's ZF-9 transmission. Resist the urge to use all purpose ATF because the ZF-9 has dog clutches. It's just $50 more to do things right.

Used this stuff in my wife's 2019 Honda Odyssey and it's the "as specified" replacement fluid from Honda. It is expensive, but getting these as a package of 4 is a better deal than my local dealership would charge. Don't mess around with off-brand or non-honda spec fluid for your transmission.
