This bed frame comes in a HEAVY box. Get the box to the room you're going to set the frame up in before you open it! The instructions are really clear, and as you put the pieces together, the frame becomes ever sturdier. It comes with a screwdriver tool and a wrench tool, but I used a combination of adjustable wrench and electric screwdriver with the correct bit for assembly, saving quite a bit of effort, since mine is a California King frame. Once assembled, the frame is REALLY solid. The feet come with covers to protect your floor, and these let you move the frame on hard floors pretty easily - I don't know how hard it would be to move it on carpet. The top of the frame is approximately 14" over the floor, so you have some easily accessible storage space under the bed if you want. We're still deciding whether we want rolling plastic totes or some other storage containers for under our bed. It's an affordable, well made, and robust bed frame that takes only a short time to assemble. This was a really positive purchase for us.

I purchased two of these. One for a 9 year old. The other for my 6'0, 250lb 17 year old son. The latter one didn't last a month. My kid is hard on things so I can't blame the product completely, but if your kid has size & is a bit rough, don't waste your money.

I was nervous with this purchase, but pleasantly surprised! I can fit actual totes under the bed. It was super easy to assemble and is light weight. But it is so sturdy, my husband, 200lb stood on the bars and they did not bend or twist or warp. Great buy for the price.
