This was for a spot under a dog bed, and it fit perfectly. The foam is soft and plush and the nap of the actual rug is very nice on the feet… …however, be prepared to toss it in the washer as soon as you get it. It has a horrible chemical smell that gave me a terrible headache. Febreeze on it’s own didn’t work, so I washed it with detergent and hung it to dry. Once dry I used Febreeze again and was finally able to bring it back into the room and lay it down. I purchased this area rug for my bedroom.. one of the best features is the backing, it keeps the rug in place. It is a beautiful design and easy to vacuum. also very soft on your bare feet. yummy! would purchase another one.
