I ordered this for my daughter’s trip ✈️to stay with her Aunt in AL for a week. My sister has all tile floors & my daughter is extremely clumsy & falls often. After she had a really bad fall that resulted in surgery, I try to be preventative as possible & not have to repeat that. Also She has autism & when she sits, she does so by plopping down with her knees &’then continues to sit on her knees or the W position for long periods of time while playing with her ipad. When my daughter arrived & saw this fluffy rug she went straight for the rug, laid on it rolled around with a big smile on her face!!! When she isn’t swimming with her cousin & aunt & uncle or going places, she is on this rug😍. I will be driving up from Fl to visit & pick up my daughter & her travel rug😂, next week & can’t wait to put this rug in our formal living room & will update my review with pics!! From seeing it for the past week on FaceTime, it is thick, fluffy soft in feel & has durable backing. The rug stays in place & doesn’t slide nor do the edges curl up so far. The overall look is sleek modern with a whole lot of cozy in feel!! I am happy that I got it for my daughter to have while at my sisters & for myself & for my daughter to use when I bring it home.!! I will add that I have 4 large rugs in this fluffy shag style & this one makes it the 5th, however I love this one’s design the best vs the typical camouflage style & plain colored ones that I have!! I would buy again & highly recommend as 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘stars!!

Really liked how soft this rug is. I didn’t wash it as others have but instead hung it outside and beat it and then went at it with a small vacuum and that did a great job at releasing a lot of the loose strands. Plus the sun got rid of the smell and straightened it out. I like to lay on the ground occasionally to help relieve my back and this makes it so im not laying straight on the ground and its thin enough so my back actually relaxes. For 40$ id recommend this rug.

I wanted a fluffy rug to go on top of the hardwood floors in front of my couch. The color doesn’t go with the tones in the room I am using it for but would go great with the color tones in a bedroom I have. The picture shows a darker gray rug but the description clearly says light gray/white. Rug arrived in a box with other items. It was folded up and shrink wrapped. I was concerned about it being folded up but it spread out and within a couple days the fold lines disappeared. So far the rug appears to hold up and I have not noticed any lint issues. Hopefully it last. I have not had a chance vacuumed the rug yet. I will try to update my review if I notice any issues when vacuuming.

If you are looking for a thick, plushy area rug, this is not the one. For decoration, it fits the need. The non-slip backing may kelp it from slipping underfoot, but it won't stay in place with rambunctious pets. This came vacuum packed but it did not affect how the rug laid. One thing you should really consider is immediately washing this rug. It came out of the package with a very strong chemical odor that I would worry about for pets or children. Washing and spinning it, then hanging over the shower curtain rod allowed it to dry completely, overnight. The fibers are very loose and will likely be prone to shedding. I have not run a vacuum cleaner across it, but I would probably recommend against that due to the fibers and weight of the rug. The instructions mention vacuuming as a method for cleaning it, but I would be hesitant. In all, the rug serves its purpose and feels better under the feet than a hard floor. For the price, this would not be a bad purchase.

This shag rug is a great affordable option! I’m using it in my sons room so he has something soft under his feet when he climbs out of bed. -doesn’t slip or slide around -looks exactly as seller advertised -very soft to the touch -I clean it with my cordless vacuum on low mode -my robot vacuum avoids the rug since it’s far too shaggy for it. -it smelled soooooooo BAD when I first got it! I had to put it in our garage for a week to air it out! Very strong chemical smell. -it comes in a compressed package and ships in a standard Amazon box. Overall, we are liking it! It’s soft, functional and affordable.

Came vacuum sealed. I will admit I did toss in my dryer to fluff out and heat the bottom pad to get it to lay flat. Pop in for five mins and your rug is back to life. Did have a kind of funny smell but I think it came from being sealed,Odor Ban was sprayed and boom my rug is perfect. It actually covers a good amount of space in my office. Cute addition to my decor and easy to clean I can see.
