There are a few reviews about how the pillow is saggy - ignore them. The detailed instructions that come with the product tells us to leave the pillow alone for 24-48 hours and give it a good shake now and then in this period. Mine took around 18 hours to fluff up and OMG this is the best pillow I've seen or had. I wanted a pillow with good back support and on the rigid side of things and this is perfect. What's more, it allows for varying levels of rigidity with the foam reserve pack. Yes, the plastic packaging was a little challenging to open, especially using a sharp instrument (going against instructions) extremely carefully to prevent any damage to the pillow. It is extremely well packaged though. It warns about a possible smell but we did not experience this. My one gripe with the pillow is the headrest. the pillow has a couple of buttons up top and the headrest has a couple of strings that loop at these buttons. However, the loop tail length is constant. This means that after the headrest has been looped around the buttons, there is a long string between the headrest and the pillow, so the headrest sags and becomes next to useless. However, given that this pillow is tall AF, this is not a huge problem. I'd like to see this addressed though. A simple solution would be to use those tightening loops like certain bags use where you can use a button to slide to desired tightness. Overall, I'd buy this again - but I hope not to - in that I hope this pillow lasts a few years. ... show more

This reading/back support pillow is awesome! I searched through every possible option before I chose this one. It is difficult to know exactly what you are getting when you order online so I will try to be helpful here: First, this comes vacuum packed. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. it will fluff up once it is removed from the package. Give it about 24 hours to reach its full shape. This pillow provides great support. It is firm and does not slouch. I am a full time college student so I needed a comfortable reading/study pillow to lean on. I chose the extra large because it comes with a head support pillow that can be attached or removed easily. I am short so it turns out that I didn't need the head support after all because the pillow is tall enough to provide good support for my back and neck. If you are a tall person considering this pillow, definitely order the extra large like I did. You will probably want the additional neck/support if you are tall. This came with additional foam stuffing but I have had no problem with this pillow keeping it's shape. It stays firm and full even during long work periods. It is easy to adjust the position of this back pillow for comfort. The fabric is very soft but yet sturdy. I do wish the side rests were larger. But the great back support and shape retention makes up for that. The pillow has a very large pocket on the back for storage. I definitely recommend this pillow for reading in bed or watching TV. It also comes with a wrist support pillow which I don't need and don't use but I think it's a great option for people who need extra wrist support. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I don't regret the buy however it advertises that it's very soft plush and that it's memory foam and that's just not my experience for me I've had it 6 months and it is still just as hard as the day I got it. If you are looking for something that is very firm and that is going to keep you up straight with a lot of sturdiness and support this is for you. However I was looking for something that was going to keep me up right but that was also going to be soft like a memory foam and be very very comfortable and this just isn't that. I mean it does its job when I'm watching TV it does hold me upright it does keep me in the sitting position but it's just too firm for me. However a lot of people like firm things so a lot of people would love this product. It is soft on the outside just not on the inside. ... show more

This is a really nice ‘media pillow’ I guess you could say,,, I’m not really sure of what this is called but it is great! I’m back in school and find myself having to hide in my bedroom to get assignments read and done. What better place than the bed! But as much as I love my tempurpedic mattress, it’s not great to sit up and read in. You sink further and further down! Bad on the back! Since I have been using this, I have been so very comfortable. It’s soft and feels great on the skin yet is very supporting and stable. It’s cushiony yet packs a punch to keep you upright and pain free in the back. The added freebies of a mobile light and wrist-rest for the laptop of the same material are perfect complimentary accessories!! Oh, also the pillows armrests are positioned perfectly, or ergonomically rather, and is something now I would not want to be without. I would miss that feature now that I have had this brand. It’s amazing to see how this plumps up so perfectly from a packaged condition. I have read reviews in the past about bedding, or big fluffy items like this being ‘flat as a pancake’ or ‘stinky plastic wrappings’. I mean, if they never plump up that’s one thing but otherwise it’s smart cost effective packaging. And, this does not disappoint!! It even has a package of extra fluff with it if you need it firmer, or to pull some out of the pillow and make it mor pliable. BTW, I didn’t smell any odd odors… I love it!!! Thank you!
