UNPACKING: Product comes in a square bag that you will spread out and be concerned about the quality of the carpet. TIME: I'm about a month in COMMENTS: I have no complaints. STAIN RESISTANT: I have not had to wash it, and I believe a seltzer fell on it at one point. HOW IS PRODUCT USED: The rug is located in a medium-traffic area where shoes are not worn. The rug feels amazingly soft on the feet. You can feel the hardness of the floor through the rug. RECOMMEND: As of now, absolutely. I will update my review after I have had to put it through the wash.

This is a thin carpet, so I did need a pad underneath. It looks nice and is like the photo. I can indeed wash it. But after only a few months the fibers are starting to come out and I have any washed it once. This is a problem for me as I have a 6m old baby. So good enough for what I am using it for, but might look for better quality when this one no longer works.

I was a little worried because on the tag it reads “not recommended for frequent machine wash” but after speaking to a representative they have reassured me that this is due to the dying process, to help reduce color fading (which I’m not worried about) After machine washing on cold, I hung it outside in the shade as directed and it feels brand new. No color fading, and perfectly clean. The fold lines came right out after the wash. It feels super fuzzy and soft, but has a low pile so vacuuming is easy and thorough. I have a one year old son who loves dropping food off his highchair and grinding everything into the ground, and I was a little worried about food not coming off because of how soft it is, but it all came off first try on a quick wash cycle. My only recommendation is to get some Velcro pieces to pin down the corners to the floor, since it is thin, the vacuum tends to want to suck it up. And it does move a little bit. Customer service was incredibly knowledgeable and informative and very reassuring. If you have kids, or pets I definitely recommend this washable rug.

Well, they finally figured out a way to make an area rug that is woefully hard to vacuum. I guess because it's washable you don't need to vacuum it? Biggest waste of money ever! While soft, and feels good to the feet, it's more like a fleece floor blanket than an area rug, in reality. Even on the lowest beater bar setting with my floor vacuum it gets all sucked into the vacuum head. The only way I've found to vacuum it is to go in 1 direction turn around and go the other way back & forth. Being relatively inexpensive it really wasn't what I was looking for. All I wanted was a rubber backed area rug that I could vacuum, and cover the floor under my recliner. I want to return it but I don't have the original packaging. I fricken hate this "rug".
