This rug is lovely! It feels very soft and velvety. It is thin (so it can be folded and machine washed), but very durable. I've washed mine twice and it looks just as vivid and intact as it did when it was delivered. It's big, so I take it to the laundromat and wash it in the biggest machines rather than wash it at home. It's easy to spot clean, and oxyclean and most carpet cleaner sprays for stains doesn't damage or discolor it. It's easy to sweep. It's easy to vacuum if you have a lightweight sweeper-type vacuum. If you have a regular vac, just put it on its highest-pile setting (like you would for shag carpet) and stand on the part of the rug you aren't vacuuming. If you vacuum it on a lower pile or bare floor setting, the vacuum will probably suck the rug up, so don't do that! The rug lays flat and stays in place well with its rubber type backing. No need for corner tape or rug pad unless you just want to add those things. I cannot recommend this rug enough!

It looks great, feels good, though it is thin. Vacuuming it sucks (could just be my vacuum, so take this part with a grain of salt), have to have someone step on the edge to hold it down so the rug doesn't get caught up in the vacuum. It's not a massive deal to most people I'm sure, but it's annoying to me with 3 dogs, including 1 Husky.

Awesome area rug for my main living area. I have hard floors which are easier to keep clean but cold on bare feet. So we wear sandals or flip flops. But it's a home. And traditionally, we remove our outside shoes once inside. It's a culture and comfort thing. But when we sit at home in our living area we prefer to not have shoes on while watching television or spending time with neighbors and friends visiting. It seems to be stain resistant as we've had a few accidents. Someone even got "sick" on it and we thought that might ruin it for good. Fortunately we cleaned it with our hydrovac, which is another product I would recommend highly for anyone with hard floors, and you cannot tell there was such an accident at all. So far I have not had to truly wash it. It's just me, my wife, and the very few neighbors and friends that come to visit and have tea or coffee with us on it. So it doesn't get that much "traffic". It would be perfect for a couple in our similar situation. The backing prevents it from sliding around and causing wrinkles that are tripping hazards.

Great, but also met my expectations. A washable rug will always be thin, and not provide much padding. This was just to protect my feet around my bed from some of the rivets in my old apartment building, for which this did the job. If you want a thick, lush rug for a living area I’d say go elsewhere, especially if you have hardwood, tile, or concrete. It’d be better for a high traffic area if that area is also carpeted. Aside from that, great feel, laid flat immediately, very minimal shedding. I love the silky texture.

This is a great size light weight it’s folds up good it looks really good, but it’s not able to be vacuumed you have to take it out and shake it outside and then just wash it in the washer. It’s thicker than some of the rugs. I’ve got off of Amazon, but it’s not super thick.
