The original fountain faucet developed a pinhole leak (so small the water looked like vapor) So glad it did - this is way better than the original ever was. The water is fuller and more defined without any adjustments.

I can see why these normally sell for $40+... Built like a tank, a ridiculously heavy chunk of chrome-plated brass, and every part is built to handle many years of constant use. All parts are user-serviceable, so save any that get damaged and use it for parts to fix others that start to leak or otherwise fail. It's an incredible deal if you can buy one when True Value Hardware Outlet has them in-stock and is getting rid of them for $11. This is really the only part you NEED to buy to make a water-fountain. The basin could be a 1ft diameter tube filled with pebbles (water draining through the stones cools the incoming water pipe), a stone/brick pedestal. For indoor fountains, a cheap stainless steel bar sink or any large stainless steel bowl you can cut a drain into, will do the job and look okay. ... show more
