I gotta say, this weighted blanket started off when the delivery guy dropped this bad boy on our porch , hefting the box into the house , I wasn’t sure what it was . New Dumbells ? The weight on this bad boy is no joke. They say it's 50 pounds, but it feels like you're pinned down by a sumo wrestler. My Shiba Inu ate a hole in the thing one late night .when I woke up ,there's these little silicone beads everywhere—on the sheets, in my hair , in my chest hair . Every orifice of my body had beads . I left a trail of beads to the shower that morning. My wife? She tried it and noped out immediately. Every night she'd just shove the whole rolled-up mess over to my side of the bed like it was radioactive. Can't blame her—it's not exactly couple-friendly unless you both want to feel like you're in a straitjacket. Overall, if you're built like a tank ,don't have pets and like to be catatonic , this could be your blanket. But for me, it's a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Awesome concept, brutal execution.

Ive had a weighed blanket before and this one is a step up from that. I bought the one in black and it is really dark not like others that are merely color washed and look faded. this has a nice compression for 40lbs and i love that it has small loops if i want to use it inside a duvet. i find it very convienent that it is a large cover even for a queen size and has extra length to it. most of the time when my body feels tired and swollen, this blanket adds nice compression and the weight helps to relax my body. moving around, there isnt that much noise from the beads inside, no more than moving under a duvet cover which is nice. there wasnt any smell pulling the blanket out from the packaging which is great. it does feel a bit warm for the summer time but is mostly cool to touch. would be great for the winter with a thick blanket. to the touch, it is soft and comforting like cotton and feels double lined to help the stitching. i did notice better sleep with this blanket on the first night of using but note how heavy you want to buy the balnket. i could have gone with a lighter weight and still feel comfortable for more daily use. overall good value for what i paid for.

50lbs weighted blanket is amazing! Love the pressure, and folded in half makes it feel like a bear hug, just as the description said. Definitely helps to make you relax. Wish they had duvet covers in lighter colors for their 50lbs blankets though.
