    • Takes a fair amount of hand strength to close
First, when we opened the set all seemed fine until we started to put them together and noted that one seal was missing from one of the lids. I will contact the seller to see if they can supply a seal for it. As stated in the headline, these containers are not easy closing. I was half afraid that I was going to break them just trying to get them to snap shut. We have a similar set that is way easier and has tabs on all four sides to secure the lids as opposed to this set that only has two sides with tabs. Some of the tabs do not want to seem to go down all of the way making them stick out at a slight angle. The lid is still secure, however it makes them appear "cheap". As these will be for in pantry storage, I am not overly concerned with it. I would bet no one would notice if out and about anyway. The hard plastic these are formed from doesn't seem like it would take a drop to the floor well either. I am not going to test that. I just think they would crack or worse due to the rigidity of the material. Time and our clumsiness will reveal the truth. I did expect more as we love our first set. I can tell you that unless the lids wear down to be a bit easier to secure, my wife will be calling on me to close or open them as she has no where near the hand strength I do. I feel there are better sets out there and would not recommend these overall, ... show more

    • Sturdy, a little smaller than expected
My fault for not recognizing the size from the pictures I think. The containers are exactly the size advertised, I just thought they’d be bigger. They a little fussy to get closed, but one they are, they’re pretty well sealed. The labels are a nice touch. I think they’re a little more expensive than they should be, so I knocked a point off. ... show more

So there is mainly pros and two cons to these storage containers. The pros to these storage containers is that they are super easy to clean, they are durable, they are airtight, easily stackable, and they come with labels and a marker that are easily erasable.     • Lots of storage but difficult to snap on the lids
These are light and attractive storage containers in several sizes. The problem with them is that the lids are very difficult to snap on. Granted, they fit nice and tight--that is if you can get them to snap on. I used extra strength and was able to get each lid on, but the difficulty makes them, for me, not worth using. ... show more

The quality of the canisters is solid but they are smaller than I was expecting. Additionally, the lids are easy enough to snap on the larger sized but the smallest size is unnecessarily difficult to snap on. They are airtight so that seems like a plus but the amount of force needed to snap down the small canisters lids is surely to cause spills.
