if you need to see what works for your skin the best way is to test various things. this book gives a large number of different recipes. I thought baby oil was the purest thing for your skin, there are other cheaper options I hadn't considered. I really like this book

Vesela always delights me with her recipes. I love that she always uses natural ingredients. This book includes recipes for scrubs and masks. In the intro, she explains what the scrubs and masks are for and the benefits of the different ingredients that she uses. Then you get a few dozen different recipes. There is a chocolate coffee scrub that I can't wait to try. While she recommends using many of these treatments fresh, I think there are a few that would preserve well and might make good homemade gifts...I would recommend this book if you like to make your own beauty products. ... show more

Very simple, natural and inexpensive. I love using these recipes Vesela has given and want to thank her for helping me rid myself of baggy eyes, firmer skin and all over good clean glowing skin. I use the brighter on my arms and have faded the brown spots we get with age.

I liked this book and have enjoyed trying the recipes. I don't like the idea of putting chemicals on my skin so this was very helpful for me. I don't think my skin looks a lot better but it does feel nice.
