I love it!! I got this for my 9 year old and 2 year old! Great price and looks great! Showed up before estimated delivery date. Directions were a little vauge but common sense helped me figure it out, all in all it was easy to put together! all the pieces were there! Had to order this bed twice. The first time, I ordered it from Amazon, directly from Homelegance as the seller. It arrived with the box in tatters, the corners of the bed exposed and damaged. But worse, only 1 box of 2 ever came. Box 2 never even had a tracking #. The company, Homelegance wanted nothing to do with the situation. Refused to return my calls. It was a major fiasco to get a refund. Finally, I was able to reorder the bed with Amazon as the actual seller. All the pieces arrived intact. It was fairly easy to assemble. Seems sturdy, looks nice. There was some hardware missing though. I was able to replace it at a hardware store. In the end, I like the bed. I am just not sure it was worth the hassle though. ... show more

    • Purchase with caution! Not durable!

If I could give this no stars I would! We purchased this for my mother in law and at first it was good she slept comfortable and (mind you this was only used to sleep no one was jumping or throwing themselves) then maybe 3-4months in the pain support beam broke in half. We called amazon at first to see if we could get a replacement part do to the fact the my mother in law loved the style and look of the bed. They put us through to the manufacture to get a replacement part. We had to contact them via email and send pictures of the damage and it took about 2wks for them to investigate and see if we were eligible for a replacement part and then another week to get the replacement part. We replaced the part and here we are two months later and the support beam broke again! The bed it’s self is pretty but it’s made poorly, the support beam should be made sturdy maybe add a metal bar to the support beam. The bed is made of what it seems to be compressed wood. The main support areas of the bed should be made better! In all amazon was able to return us our money but in return we have to send the bed back. ... show more

After much research and reading all the reviews it's time for me to post my own. Upon receiving the bed I did a full inventory of all the parts and pieces. Everything was intact and ready to put together. Once I got the bed together, I conducted a weight test to see how it would hold up. I'm 6'1 And 230 lbs and it held up quite nicely. So I proceeded to the trundle and did the same thing. And it held up as well. To add more support for the top bed, I would recommend getting a twin bunkie board and lay it down prior to laying the mattress on top. The material is extremely easy to maintain and accessorizing it is fairly easy as well. As your can see from the pictures of will fit in any room and you would not be disappointed. I would like to note that I did not get paid for this review I am a genuine customer submitting this review. If interested in this item, get it and try for yourself. ... show more

    • NO DIRECTIONS, AND HOLES DONT LINE UP

Looks good, would have been easier assembly if there were directions and the holes lined up properly! Use your own Allen wrench the one or comes with is junk and doesn't work good at all.. other than that happy with purchase.. but assembly would have and could have been way easier!
