The media could not be loaded. Nice little piece of Kit. All of my kindling was damp, and I had it up an running at full tilt in less than 15 minutes. the stove pipe puts out a lot of heat, and it will cook things very fast. A couple of things I noticed were that It will burn through a small bundle of sticks in about 15 minutes. It appears to burn the fuel to a fine ash. Here, I used 1 plank of discarded cedar fence board, and was able to cook two eggs, and boil a pot of water on one load of fuel. The stove weighs in at about 15-20 lbs, and when folded up is very compact. So far, this thing appears to be made pretty well, but is not without it's problems. Although the design of the stove looks to be well thought out, stowing the parts of the stove are counter-intuitive. One woult think that the parts would go inside of the stove itself for storage. They do not. The handle rises just high enough to prevent you from putting the top plate in place when it's closed, and the other pieces of the stove will not fit inside of the body. This will come in handy for some outdoor fun this fall/winter. The wife is already dreaming of making smores on it. You should try this if you spend time outdoors. ... show more

This Rocket Stove is Built with great care and design implementation. The packaging is a bit much. Individual pieces in a clear plastic bag, then shrink wrapped for multiple layers of unnecessary protection. Easy to light and use. As will all rocket stoves, usage of small wood/sticks and tending to the fire for the first hour or so is key. This is NOT for backbacking. Great for Car/RV/Trailer camping. Will last a LONG time.
