This is unexpected because It is larger than anticipated! I love it! Be sure you have the room for it ! And that you are going to really want it! It IS that kind of chair! You are going to love it or hate it! It takes a bit to put it together so take your time. The cushion IS thick enough. The value IS worth it it! Like I said though, you need be sure you want it, this is not an impulse purchase. It is very sturdy! Once you put together, that is it. There are 2 pegs on the bottom rear that allows the rocking stopper - how far and quick you "rock" so you can control that, they screw in and out for safety. There are different colors for the cushion not just white. The cushion as well as the ergonomics of the chair are comfortable, I have fallen asleep in it often. It's great for reading, watching movies, just relaxing; you can put it on you porch or deck. I wouldn't advise letting the cushion get water logged through it dosen't dry very fast. I love these chairs so much! I got them because I saw a video of a woman sitting in one who was 6ft tall and the chair enveloped her. Ordered them right away. They were covered earlier than the delivery date and (according to my husband) easy to assemble, although a bit time consuming (about 1 hr per chair). I’ve spent so much more time on our patio now that these chairs are here and so has the whole family. They are sturdy, rock very nicely, look exactly how advertised, and are very cozy ❤️ I’m 6ft tall my self, and my husband is 6’6 and the chairs fit us both great. My 5 year old can squeeze in for a cuddle too. I just LOVE these chairs! ... show more

I have been so excited to receive this chair! It looks so comfortable in the pictures. I originally wanted an egg chair but this won me over. Let me just say it was packaged really nice and once it got here I was surprised with how big it actually is. The directions seemed easy to follow but I had so many issues 😅😅 was only supposed to take 2 people 15 mins, it took me alone, almost 2 hours. The metal pieces just don’t line up nicely, even if you leave everything loose till the end. Some bolts seemed to big/small for where they were supposed to be. But I did get it together and tightened. it feels sturdy. If the framing stays together it will be a very nice seat. I think it will but idk for how long. The cushion is very think and comfortable. It’s not too firm but it feels durable. The chair rocks nice. I am pleased with it as long as it stays together! There were no holes in my cushion. Most comfortable chairs EVER! Love these chairs. I have had them almost a year now and they seem to be holding up well. I have spent many a summer night sitting outside enjoying the sounds of summer while gently rocking. Do be aware of the orientation when assembling. It matters that you have the appropriate sides in the appropriate place. They are NOT interchangeable and you have to disassemble the whole thing and start over. Lol ... show more

First of all, they are good looking chairs though a little low for me, however; I expected as much from the picture description As for putting it together, it would have been easier if I had a second person to help and took about two days to assemble because I’m not experienced My problem is the bar at the bottom of the chair is painful on the shins unless fully curled up Too heavy to return, and disassembly out of the question so I’ll figure out how to add something to make it feel better. So after reading some reviews I decided to dive in and get this rocking chair for my patio. First thing, step 2 & step 3 needs to be switched, if you are building this by yourself. Screw in the middle of both chairs to have some stability, then connect the feet to the base of the chair. This took me about 40 mins, if you read some other reviews it took them over an hr, this is because they stated the first or second step is hard. Do yourself a favor and complete step 3 second, only because the first step, is to take off the caps for the feet of the chair. Do not tighten the screws until you have all screws in place, common mistake I came across when reading the reviews. This rocking chair is sturdy, comfortable, has thick cushions and love the color. I got the blue velvet and it's sooo soft, I am also 5'11" 240+ lbs and I'm able to rock comfortably. ... show more
