To start off, when I removed this from the package the hardware and brackets looked kind of dirty and the packaging looked like it was a return that was thrown back together to be re-sold. Not a huge deal but a little annoying. I purchased the 48” blind, it is actually only 47”. Again, not a huge deal for my project, but a little annoying. Pretty easy to hang the brackets but tough to put all the pieces together and hang by yourself. Mostly because you have to put the roller and everything in yourself and keep it all in place while fitting in to the bracket. I struggled but was able to do it. Had this been any wider I would have needed another person to help hold it up. Once again, not a huge deal, but a little annoying. It looks great once it’s up, and functions well. I’d buy it again, but definitely would have a second person to help just to make it go faster. ... show more

I am so happy with this shade. I’m down sizing and streamlining my home and I don’t want curtains or drapes anymore. Just want a nice fresh clean window treatment. This shade is beautiful. It has the look of linen but very sturdy. Easy to hang (20 minutes). Room darkening and looks very chic. The mechanism is very smoothly. This product was easy to install however not very sturdy. The chain broke after 20 uses and the warranty is only 30 days. No other warranty offered. Not very happy and was hoping it would be replaced but it’s a few days past the 30.

I work late on the weekends so it’s important that the room is dark enough for me to sleep in. We weren’t getting it dark enough with just the blinds but these are perfect. Probably could’ve mounted them a bit more inset to be closer to the window to let even less light in but it works.
