Honestly, this alarm system is super cool. It does exactly what it promises, and the best part? No subscription required. I got this alarm kit thinking it would be wireless, as suggested on the product page, but it actually requires hardwiring. Since I’m not an electrician, that was a bit frustrating right off the bat. I did get some help with the installation, but even after that, I’ve had issues with it staying connected to Wi-Fi now. The system also tends to go off for no reason, which is really annoying. It seems way too sensitive, especially if you have pets. Overall, I had higher hopes for this product, but it’s been more trouble than it’s worth so far. A couple things I don’t like about this alarm system are; first the SIM card thing DONT work at all! Second, there is no way to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the screen. This should be added to the settings. I am NOT happy with this product at all! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This is a very nice basic home security system in my opinion! It was relatively simple for me to install since I have a lot of experience with electronics. The system has been working well so far, and I like that there are several means to control it that are included in the kit along with the ability to use a mobile device app. The motion detection is good, and the door sensor works well. I also like that it was easy to connect to my home's WiFi network but can also be used with cellular if desired.
