I am actually impressed with this product. I expected it to work but maybe not so well. I have combination skin with more dry areas lately. I experience dry skin occasionally between and along my brows, almost always on my forehead, sometimes along the side of my nose, sometimes in small patches on my cheeks, chin and neck. These areas become visibly flaky or at least become dry after I apply any concealer or foundation makeup. I used to set my makeup with a matte setting spray. Before that I used to also use matte concealer/foundation. This was an attempt to unify my skin so it would look consistent in color and texture, instead of patchy/oily here and lighter/darker there etc. However, I realized that while it may have given my facial skin a more "uniform" look, it also made it seem one-dimensional, thus drab (at least to me). It also did not do much in the way of helping me combat those constant dry areas (forehead). I resolved to avoid applying makeup to the forehead area, even if it meant the appearance of uneven skintone (no one has uniform skintone/color anyway). WITH THIS DEWY FINISH SETTING SPRAY, I've found that my skin looks dimensional and appears to have a *natural* shine/glow, not oily or extra. It only takes a few quick spritz to cover the entire face and neck area and a few seconds to settle and I feel refreshed. My skin actually feels hydrated. My dry patches seem to melt away, my use of concealor/foundation no longer looks obvious. In fact, THE BEST PART IS, it looks like I haven't used any foundation or concealer at all. The spray sets everything in beautifully, blending everything together. No more uneven patches or cakey-looking areas. No more flakey bits or pores gaping for moisture, that were further emphasized by powder makeup. It all looks natural and my skin no longer looks unhealthy. ... show more

Pretty good setting spray, I used it a few times already and it does give a bit of a dewy look and makes makeup stay on a little longer. Has no smell which is really good since I have sensitive skin. I was skeptical at first because its priced really low but it seems to do what it says. I read reviews and took a chance so far im happy with it. It Made my makeup last a little longer than usual even through hot humid weather and sweating. My makeup usually only last about 2 hours even less if its humid and I sweat but with this it lasted throughout the day even after SWEATING my makeup was still intact.. I don't really have any cons except the bottle size is kind of small. It Kind of makes my face have a soft velvety look. Hoping to try the matte version next. I’m buying this for the third time, so thought I should review it. This works well as a setting spray, but the dewy finish is what I like best. I’m able to get the refined look of powder without looking powdery. I use this after loose powder and powder blush. It’s youthful sheen in a bottle!

I’m an irresponsible millennial with duel incomes and no kids so i’ve been living that Tatcha life. Decided to go to grad school so here I am. The value is nuts—I payed less than 5 dollars for what will last me for quite some time if I use it regularly. However, I doubt I will. First off, this stuff is DEWY in all of the ways I want it to be and it does stay like that for a decent amount of time (3-4 hours then I would just spray again). I also have oily skin and truly believe that dewy was made for oily folks to lean into it instead of fooling ourselves to think we can be perfectly matte, so don’t be afraid! But do be very afraid if you have sensitive skin!!! My first spray I had two thoughts: 1) this smells like my early twenties (day old PBR. Not very elegant). 2) what the hell are these weird hard crystals all over my phone?! I’m a skincare freak and seeing what got on my phone and how I had to actually CHIP it off totally had me nervous about what I just sprayed on my face. Sure enough minutes later my face was warm and turning pretty red, but nothing extreme. Impulsively I tried more anyways, had the same reaction, but honestly it looked shockingly good. The formula of this is sort of confused. It is mixed with a couple fillers, a couple bad for you ingredients (but somehow skipped perfume and let it smell god awful?) but a couple of skin loving ingredients too (I see you niacinamide) but overall, nothing in here is really that awful, and for under 5 bucks, I had managed expectations. IF I didn’t have sensitive skin, I would use this everyday. Its all the way dewy, makeup was set well enough, it irritates my skin mildly, but absolutely no breakouts which happens to be very easily, it’s the cheapest setting spray I’ve ever seen, but I also can’t wait until I can afford something where I don’t have to compromise. SIDE NOTE: The mist is not fine at all,but if you have an old bottle of something that had nicer packaging that you’ve used before, just dump this into that bottle and it will go on much nicer! ... show more

I can't really tell the difference with this vs. the black nyx matte setting spray but it does the job & keeps my make up in tact all day so im keeping it lol . i think using both is good layering for me
