I want to start by saying that I had a specific reason for purchasing this and the price sold me. It is light enough to pick up and run off with. The buttons are plastic and could be easily broken off and they have holes predrilled in the back for mounting so it cannot be called waterproof. The walls are very thin as well. I like it because it keeps my kids out of it and I rent, so if someone comes over to repair anything or do an inspection, I am comfortable knowing they can't get into it. That's all I wanted it for. I have a separate safe box that is water and fireproof that has documents and things that I want protected. I like it and it works for me but be wary if you're looking for something to keep papers, money or other items you wouldn't want damaged in a fire/flood. ... show more

The code didn’t work! Tried everything, YouTube, followed directions on the little manual that came with it, researched online, just wouldn’t work! Requested a refund and returned it. Going to order a different one as soon as I get the refund. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone.

Right after I got this I locked it with the keys inside and no code set. The default code is 0000. Punch this in and it'll open right up. No batteries needed. This code doesn't work once you set your own code. I bolted this to the floor and it's plenty sturdy.
