This set was way better then id think for a combo, the peeler is very sharp and peels perfectly, the grater aswell. The only problem i've had with the year of my using it was the potato masher's handle breaking off from too much force. Not a deal breaker since I still use it without the handle but be careful when mashing with it as it can happen.

I was in a position where I needed various kitchen utensils on a strict budget. I thought these would be just the ticket. I was wrong. I would've been far better off buying a better quality set, or individual pieces, at a higher price...something that is durable and would last. Because I'll likely be replacing several of these pieces after a very short time. These utensils are very cheaply made from flimsy materials (despite what the description says) and I doubt they'll hold up to much use. The blade fell out of the cheese knife while I was washing it right after unpacking. And pay attention when washing and be sure to let all the water drain out of the handles. Some of the items, the spoons and turners mostly, are adequate...except for water remaining in the handles after washing. Everything else is pretty much junk. Most all of the handles have some fairly sharp edges on them as do the edges of the spoons and turners. Not likely sharp enough to cut skin but sharp enough to be uncomfortable. And definitely sharp enough to easily damage certain cookware...including the seasoning on cast iron. I'm almost afraid to use the peeler. It's another piece that came apart out of the box. One side that holds the blade in place was bent and the tab the holds the blade in place was able to fall out. I had to bend the side back in place in order to make this piece serviceable. I'd say the best use for these utensils would be as a kitchen decoration...hang them on the wall and use something else to cook with. Most of them do look pretty nice. But looks, in this case, are deceiving. This is exactly the kind of crap that gives "Made in China" a well-deserved reputation for poor quality. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. ***UPDATED*** I haven't really changed my opinion of the quality of these utensils. However, I was contacted by the seller and they wen't above and beyond to make this experience better for me. I'm very impressed with their prompt attention to my concerns. They do look good on the wall.

The media could not be loaded. Very solid cooking set. Definitely worth the price. Bought this set twice and first time lasted around 4 years. Ironically each set had the can opener break within a month all the other peices are pretty steady. Just need to buy a separate can opener bec this one won't do anything
