This style has a genuine black, pine shingled roof, a removable back wall for easy cleaning, a 1 1/4" entry hole to an unpainted nest box, ventilation and drainage holes. Features: stone chimney with chimney cap; matching birdhouse decoration; wood pile; chopping block; rain barrel; and inlaid, river stone walls. Comes with a mounting plate that allows easy placement on a wooden 4" X 4" and an ingenious steel cable to hang the house. Item Dimensions: 9.5" H x 9.5" W x 11" D. The bird house is very cute and works fine as a decoration. But it doesn't have any way to clean out old nesting material short of unscrewing the bottom. Also, there is no ventilation other than the hole for the birds to enter through. Both of those features were part of the description. To me, that makes the birdhouse non-functional since I don't know how many times you can take the screws out of the wood and not ruin the screw holes. I returned it. ... show more

not sure if this is a real bird feeder or just a decorative bird house. Instructions as to how to put it together are POOR. baffled! I wanted a bird feeder. Not sure what to do with the extra pieces and wire.
