This piece is a nice addition to the mostly white furniture of my living room. I saw it being sold elsewhere but for at least double of what Amazon had it priced. It's not real solid wood, but I feel the price was a fair reflection of that. It has ample storage space inside.

I am always tentative when I am purchasing inexpensive furniture. You run the risk of receiving something that is of poor quality with shoddy materials and missing parts. The HOMCOM cabinet however shipped in perfect condition and I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of the materials. The cabinet parts are comprised of manufactured wood, however the white paint was applied evenly with good cover and all of the fastening hardware was robust such that when the cabinet was completely assembled, it was solid with a great appearance. The hinges that are included allow you to adjust the 2 front doors of the cabinet such that you can get them into very even position, so do not be frustrated if after your first try they do not come out perfect. You have to use a screwdriver to set the depth of the door on the hinge, in addition to the width of the door from the side of the cabinet. Once you get it dialed in they are quite even and look great. The piece looks beautiful; I utilized this as a small media console, using the bottom shelf as a support for my modem, router, and cable box. Inside the cabinet I placed various items like Xbox controllers, a headset, extra cables, battery chargers, and other miscellaneous items. On the top part of the cabinet I placed my Xbox and some decorative items. I originally purchased this piece because of how narrow it was, as it needed to sit underneath a wall-mounted television that was close to a door and I did not want to obstruct the doorway opening. It was a perfect solution for my project and I am very satisfied. My only criticisms are of the manufacturing of the 2 front doors: Even though they line up perfectly from a physical standpoint (in reference to the two doors being level without any offset, the decorative grooves in the doors themselves may not line up perfectly, which is difficult to see unless you are staring straight at it. This is not glaringly noticeable but I certainly notice it. Cable management is achievable by placing cables and power bricks underneath the bottom shelf, which is hidden from plain view unless you are low enough to see underneath it. I am comfortable recommending this for basic projects require a simple small form factor solution for storage of items in tight spaces that are not extremely heavy. ... show more

Update- great customer service. They responded quickly and were very helpful. Don’t spend your money on this product. The doors don’t line up. The directions don’t show where to screw the back into so now I have big holes on the front of my product. Waiting on customer service to get back to me but there are so many other products that would have been a better option. ... show more

It matches my shutters and loving the white color. It came delivered via UPS. Nicely packaged and sturdy material. Instructions enclosed with extra parts. The only pain in the A was the backboard part. I had to get a hammer and smash the nails in. It would've been better if it was just a whole board. I built 2 of these and it took hours.     • Not sturdy, broken piece on receipt
As soon as we open the box, the side panel aaa cracked, we decided that since this was for our laundry room and no one would see the inside to continue to build it. It was easy enough to put together but it is not sturdy and rocks side to side.

I bought this to place between my washer and dryer, to hold the laundry basket between loads. It would be nice if it was a little bit wider because I am also using it to store towels and I have to get creative with my folding to make sure they fit.
