The good: the color is beautiful, it's incredibly soft, it's lightweight enough to move from room to room without having to even roll it, and it adds texture to a space. The bad: how are you supposed to clean it? It's not high quality, and the shag is so long it'll either get caught in a vacuum OR it'll rip right out. I've just been taking it outside and shaking it, but I don't really like I can really "clean" it. I could try washing it, but I'm a bit concerned the fluffiness will fall or even get matted/felted based on how it feels. Probably best for temporary use and not daily use, simply due to the cleaning aspect. ... show more

This rug is really nice, very big. The measurements were suppose to be 6'x9', however, I measured it & it is only 6' 3/4" x 8'3/4". It's not as heavy as I would like it to be but it will do. I love the dark gray color. I am having a little issue with it laying flat, hopefully once it's down for awhile it will flatten out. I have it in on top of my carpet so not sure how well it would grip on a bare floor. ... show more

I got this rug as a gift for my niece, who had recently gotten her first apartment. She has a 1-year-old son, so for him to crawl around on the hard floor was not ideal. This rug is a great option for her, because it is very soft and almost like a shag rug. She will definitely have to vacuum it regularly because it is not one that you could sweep off to clean it. This is a great rug. The rug is very soft and has a thick fluffy layer. The rug didn't shed at all when I opened the package. It's light but a good weight. I also like that I can either spot clean this rug or throw in the wash. What's great is that the rug has a nonslip rubber backing and helps prevents slips and trips.
