The first clue that this rug would not be high quality should've been the price. The second clue should've been that it came folded up in about a 2x2 foot square. The third should've been the texture (that slimy feeling, smooth hair type rug - NOT a thick woven shag). But since none of those red flags stopped me from putting it down - I'll tell you again that it's not worth the money. It feels like a heavy blanket, not a rug. It also does not lay flat. Those folds will be here to stay for quite some time because it does not weigh enough to flatten itself. The ONLY reason I'm keeping this rug is because it's for my Labrador. We keep a rug for him to play on since our floors are all solid and he slips and slides on them. But that's about all it's suitable for.

My son chose this rug for our new house. He wanted carpet but we went with all wood floors. This rug fits wall to wall like carpet. It is a soft shag feel. The color is a nice gray that goes with his gaming room. We don’t have pets inside so it should hold up well. It is functional for his need. Not for high traffic or messy areas. No odor or shedding has been noticed. Great rug for the price.

Update: this rug is beautiful, but because of the texture it does not vacuum well at all. I have a cat and the liter box is in a completely different room and I keep finding liter stuck in the rug. I have to pick the pieces up myself because they won't vacuum up. Not as happy with this rug anymore. Lookin go for a new one I was very nervous when I saw the rug folded in a box. And even more nervous when I opened it up. This is not a normal rug. Its base is like a thin memory foam and the shag feels like a soft long haired cat. This is the weirdest rug I’ve ever seen yet it’s the neatest rug I’ve ever seen. My son loves its softness and likes to lay and play on it. I have dogs and cats and they also love laying on it and they wrestle on it and surprisingly it’s holding up. It did take several days to flatten out. My only complaint is I ordered a 12x15 and it’s not one full piece. It’s 2 rugs with a seam down the middle. The pattern does camouflage it tho. Overall, I do recommend this rug

I have gotten so many compliments on this rug. I bought the 10x14. Yes it is thin but it’s also pretty inexpensive, however the colors and look outweigh the thin aspect. I had 8 people to dinner last night and each one complimented the rug when they walked it. I was like wow I’ve bought expensive rugs before and no comments but this one they all loved.

The carpet is very thin and very slippery. Have to be careful not to fall walking on it. Also, the tag says not to clean so when it gets dirty I guess you have to discard. With all that said, the color is beautiful, it's very soft and beautiful on the floor. I wouldn't recommend for anyone older. Also came when promised. No complaints on the seller. The cost was reasonable.

It was so hard to clean. The shag was a very cheap shag. When vacuumed a certain way, you could see the mat the shag was sewn on in strips. Very synthetic material. It was soft at first then quickly became a different texture. Very thin. No padding. Considering it was my basement rug for the kids area, it did what it needed to for the time being.
