This rug is huge! I received the 9' x 12' and though I new the dimensions, they don't really tell the full story. When you unwrap it and spread it out in a room, be prepared to start moving furniture, because not many people will have 9' x 12 of open space in their room. It's very soft and lays flat from the get-go. The colors are distressed and the pattern very intricate. Looks pretty classy and as Lebowski would say, "It really ties the room together." It has a thick, yet light weight backing. Clean up! We had a small doggie accident on it not too long after spreading it out and a damp wash cloth was all we needed. Everything cleaned up nice and neat! So I'd say it's pretty pet friendly as well. A welcome addition to any room as long as it's a BIG room! ... show more

I love the design of this rug and have it in my living/dining room area. It is certainly not on par in terms of thickness or weave on a true woven rug - this is printed and a bit thin, but for adding a beautiful design element, this does the trick.

I had a friend a few years ago that had a real Persian rug. It was a classic design with strong red and blue tones and a beautiful medallion in the center. This rug is the “real life” version of her super expensive, “please remove your shoes” piece of floor art that I so admired. . With its blue border and medallion, gold accents and rust toned, red centered surround, this rug provides the perfect backdrop for my eclectic style of furniture. I’m using this in our family room where it’s soft texture and wearability are essential. I love that the pattern won’t show dirt or stains but if accidents happen, spot cleaning and throwing it into a washer Are encouraged. We don’t live in an area of the country where snow and ice get tracked in but we have been know to accidentally bring red clay in on our shoes. This rug will be completely unperturbed by a little additional color. If the red clay proves too difficult to remove I don’t think anyone will notice but me. I am also thrilled with the size of this rug (9’x12’)for the price. I believe it’s an excellent value. Comfortable underfoot, great size, washable with a gorgeous pattern and colors. This is a well-crafted and stunning rug. The flowered design is beautiful. The colors are welcoming and cheery. The rug is very soft. It stays where you put it. Machine washing may be difficult. You can wipe it with a damp sponge. This is a delightful rug.
