I was pleasantly surprised when I finally saw how the rug looked once it was setup. The box the rug came in was smaller than I expected so I thought I made the wrong choice. I'm glad how light this rug is, now I know how manageable it will be when washing it in a machine washer. I love the size, color, and thickness of the rug. To say it’s a rug is a little misleading, it’s the size that was needed but a 10’x14’ ‘rug’ was shipped folded up in a box and is more like a giant bed sheet in so far as fabric thickness than it is a rug.

This rug is HUGE so even though it's thin and washable, you need a pretty big washing machine to wash it. It's a nice rug but it does not feel soft under my feet and it's much lighter than it looks in the pictures, so it does not work for me. I ended up changing it and leaving this one as a backup to use when I want to wash the one I decided to use. ... show more

These machine washable rugs like the one here are very durable and seem to hold up well for high traffic. The only concern I have with such are the patterns and if they will remain in tact over time. This includes the fact that it is washable which I have not had to do yet, will it hold up in washes. I have had to spot clean a few times and it is pretty easy to clean.
