I purchased this chair for my grandmother who is on the smaller side of 5’2” and it fits her perfectly. The chair is not big and bulky and very easy to move around if needed. It comes in 2 pieces for the chair and a box with the 4 legs to be screwed in. It takes less than 5 minutes to put together. The material is soft and it seems well built especially for the price. I tried it out prior to my grandmother sitting in it and it is really comfortable. The arms are a bit low but that doesn’t affect the quality or comfort of the chair. Overall I am happy with this purchase. Now let’s get to the shipping of the chair. I was very impressed when I got a notification that It shipped out within two hours of me ordering it and I placed my order in the evening. Love this chair, it is kind of flimsy in places, such as the arm rests and I punched through the arm on two of the three I've purchased. Comfortable when new and last for a while, then i put a seat cushion on it, and it is good again. Reclining is manual, but easy and I like the angle of the dangle as I have back issues, have slept in it many nights, only complaint is that the armrests are too hard, even while being flimsy if I use them to lift myself out of the chair, but yet I have bought three, and might be doing another. ... show more

I looked at a lot of recliners both in the stores and on-line. This one stood out. Good value and seems well made. Goes together in about 5 minutes; as others have said, just two pieces. It is helpful to have a second person to help line the top up with the base. It looks good in the space and doesn't overwhelm the room at all. It reclines easily in two positions in addition to straight up. The second position is comfortable for reading. We got red and the color is true to the pictures. I guess the only con is that it is not as padded as a more expensive or larger recliner, but it is very adequate for our purposes, and you can fall asleep in the extended position! I read the reviews and was taking a chance. I ordered this chair for my Father-in-law's room at the Nursing home. I want to say that it is a smaller than normal chair. It is the PERFECT size for his room. It will fit any average person in weight and size. But if you are tall, or round, read the dimensions before buying. It fits his 5'8" pear shaped frame just fine. He has balance issues and this chair is solid. It has a good stance and firm armrests to raise himself off the chair. I ordered the black "leather" which is a good quality vinyl. This is good for clean up in case he has an accident. It pushes back with a little effort, which is good. And it folds back down easy with the same. I would recommend this chair for the application of a person with limited space. It is not a big chair. But I believe the quality is good for everyday use as well. Great for a small den, or tv room.     • NOT Pet Or People Friendly; The Recliners From Hell!

Great chairs, for the price. Sadly, they skimped on the quality of the material. Within minutes of assembling the two chairs, my curious kitty had to try out the new living-room "toys". Getting off of the chair, her claw got stuck in a nub of the fabric and ruined the arm of my brand new chair. If you buy this chair and have pets or children, be sure to order a quilted cover to protect it; mine arrives, tomorrow! UPDATE (5/3/2024): This is one of, if not THE worst purchases I have ever made from Amazon. The seller wants the customer to pay for the return of these defective chairs and seems not to care about the poor reviews given. My cat constantly clawed the material and by the 2nd day, they looked like I got them out of a dumpster. The quilted cover was not large enough to keep the kitty's claws away from the back, side, or ends of arms. Strands of material were hanging out from under the cover. The 2 covers cost $35 each. Now I had to buy stretch covers for under the quilted cover, thankfully, I found covers for $10 each. Now, I've added $45 each to brand new chairs that look like I tried to conceal old ratty chairs. The beautiful red chairs are now encased in dark grey stretchy material which has the navy blue quilted cover on top. I regret not returning the chairs as it is so depressing to be in my living-room. In over 4 years, my cat has NEVER destroyed anything else in my home. Almost every reviewer mentioned that the chairs smell bad. I believe that the smell is from rodents in the warehouse and the stink made my cat go crazy; she is very gentle and loving and plays with her many toys, ONLY....Until the arrival of the stinky chairs! Do NOT buy these chairs from ANY seller. But most importantly, don't buy anything from this horrible seller! I know that Amazon reads the reviews, thus, it is a sad commentary that they keep this seller, and show no regard/respect for their customers! PS~ I am so upset about the esthetics/form of the chairs, that I for got to mention their poor function! You cannot recline in these chairs and relax, because as soon as you stop pressing down HARD on the footrest, the chair returns to the upright position.
